Maybe I'm alone here, but... big deal?

$20 more than the Standard edition isn't much, you do get the LCE-specific cars, and priority in the Auction House. So it also covers the Muscle Car Pack; the Season Pass still represents a savings compared to buying each DLC pack separately, just, well, slightly less of a value than the people who buy the normal game.

I paid $40 more for the CE of GT5 than the regular game, and while it came with a car model, it didn't come with any unique cars (just small bumps in power and garish vinyl work). This is small potatoes to me in comparison.

I agree. When I read they were including it for free for the Season Pass purchasers I thought to myself "Well, how is that fair to the LCE buyers. Aren't we the majority?" But when all is said and done I was planning on picking up all / most of the DLC anyways so I am still getting a good deal.

Regardless, it is good to see that MS/T10 have recognized the problem and are working on something to replace it for LCE buyers. I will NOT say no to free cars.

I never knew how bumpy sebring was until I saw a race on speed. I agree 100%.

Anyways, the article doesn't say much. As the Muscle Car Pack is part of the LCE and the seasonal pass, a lot of LCE buyers are a bit pissed, it seems. Hence, MS is currently looking into giving something extra to those who buy the LCE.

Not a big deal in the first place, but hey, if they want to give me free stuff, sure

Nah, you're not. It just shows how much such preorder incentives can be confusing as the marketing teams themselves are screwing things up.

Just seems like MS intents to keep the LCE good value, compared to the standard version. No big deal for sure, but making sure that the LCE is worth buying is a nice touch.

Not so much because of more freebies, but moreso to express their goodwill, so to speak. If that makes sense, that is.

Making all of the pre-order incentive cars available to LCE owners would be welcome. Mine comes with the Impreza but I'd really like the Giulietta too.

Here on Amazon.de the LCE version costs "only" 8€ more, so that´s ok. I still dont know why I paid 90€ for the GT5 CE?? I did not even touched that book ones damn :/

Because Passats aren't cool enough. The need the Pheaton, too, but's not their, either...nor the new Rabbit.

The GTI VR6 is a mess. I hope the GTI valver wheelarches are an OEM option on it, otherwise that VR6 looks nothing more than a colour-coded CL with no arch extensions.

And for a brand only sold in one country, Vauxhall are rather well represented again.
