Does any one know for sure if you can bring some of your credits from fm3 profile to fm4?

You cannot. You will start with certain cars if you have them in FM3, and receive other cars based on your driver level in FM3. You can also move your vinyl groups, but no credits can be transfered.

You bet I am! :)

You're talking to a guy that stayed up for 24 hours to get FM3 early lol.

I would have never guessed or thought that at all.

From you posts you seem quite negative towards it.
I'm not knocking that, it's your opinion.

A guy on here hates Forza but he can't resist either, he has to buy it.

I could never go back to a pad though.
Hot pursuit and driver MAY have got a look in with a wheel but pad only helped my decision.
Actually Hot pursuit can go and spin, damn EA.

Sorry for off topic.

No matter how much I like a game, I will always point out flaws if they exist.

I try not to be one of those people.

Hot Pursuit may be published by EA, but Criterion at least used the exclusive Porsche license to its full, with plenty of up-to-date models in it; Shift 2 launched with the Gen.1 997 GT3 RS the lazy swines.

HP is an epic game imo - Outrun done right.

Incorrect.

You are gifted credits based on your career level in FM3. This information is found on ForzaMotorsport.net

Okay well then...

Actually, no.

You are gifted cars based on your career level.

Taken from FM.net:

Based on your Forza 3 driver level, you start your Forza 4 garage with these cars. These are player loyalty rewards.

Actually, yes. :)

"If you're connected to the server and your Xbox LIVE account is in good standing, you will be gifted credits based on your level."

"Under the Hood" Part 2

Look right above the picture that you linked. It is plain as day.

The only thing I have officially heard from Turn10 is that you are gifted cars. It was posted, by a moderator, that you will not recieve credits and indeed cars, in the forza forums.

I doubt we will actually get credits.

Officially from Turn 10 you have the line from the Under the Hood segment which I just quoted and led you to where I got it from.

Anything from a moderator is not officially from Turn 10. They have no affiliation with Turn 10 other than moderating the forums. So, anything from them is not officially from Turn 10.

I really don't know how I could state that to help you better understand.

One line means nothing. Remember that line before GT5 came out "You will be able to trade cars you had in GT5P to GT5"? That never happened.

Alright, whatever spongey.

I gave you the official word from T10.

However you decide to interpret it or just plain pretend that it doesn't exist is up to you.

I am not arguing this.

Zoo is right. This is straight from "under the hood 2"

"Profile import is, among other things, our way of rewarding long-time Forza Motorsport players. How does the system work?

It’s all automatic. After your first race (logged in with the same Xbox Profile you played Forza Motorsport 3 with), you will be asked if you want to import your profile. This will have no effect of your Forza 3 profile. It’s just a read on that profile. The import process looks at several factors and gives a variety of rewards. If you’re connected to the server and your Xbox LIVE account is in good standing, you will be gifted credits based on your level. The car imports do not require connection to LIVE. "

I know what he ment. I just doubt it will happen like that.

Huh, I guess even in the gaming world, "never argue with a woman" is still a valid advice.

How many of you will be purchasing the monthly DLCs? I don't think I'll be doing that for the simple reason that in 12 months time or so, no doubt a FM4 Ultimate Collection will become available and they'll likely add the last DLC pack to it making it 'exclusive' (a bit like Stig's Garage pack and the Community Choice pack for FM3)
So, you'll be spending 5000 MS points (about £50) on DLC, only to get the exact same thing for £20-25 in a year's time.
I made the mistake before of downloading DLC because I didn't realize that T10 released UCE's after a year. If I had, I wouldn't have bothered.

I will most likely be getting every DLC.

I'll just buy whatever tickles my fancy, but I'll buy it the moment I can.

'Dat body roll.👍

Talk about putting that old suspension to work. Looks great. Thats some serious weight transfer.

That's some serious weight ;) Man I can't wait to get my hands on FM4. Too much goodness being spread around.

Totally agree! 👍 The past few days have been good especially after all these pics started getting posted last night.

What a used brick of a car, the tyre design looks brilliant though!

More like boat of a car.

I'm not an expert of Supra's but...

Are those seats modified?

Are those headlights modified?

It's possibly an already tuned Supra, tuned even more, hence the seats.
