You're waiting.

Well, I decided to rejoin the "dark side", and I reinstalled Forza 7. I'm...actually really enjoying playing this game again. Ended up making a killer B class car, and out of 7 online races, I've won 6 of them. Wanna know what it is?

If there's one thing I love about Forza is building regular cars into race cars, or any car for that matter (such as rally cars, touring cars, street cars, etc.). I recently started doing this with alot of my cars and it has been a blast!

Sure Forza 7 maybe more of the same, but no game captures the thrill it has (GT used to, which inspired T10, but they decided to go iRacing on us... Still hoping for GT7 though :)).

Nice man. And the game only looks to get better over the remainder of the summer starting next week.

I'll believe it when I see it. One thing is to add requested features, but another is to ensure that these are accompanied by respectable quality control. It has had a questionable track record so far. :nervous:

Agreed there. It's like they fix and add things... only to screw up other things smh. Let's hope some things become ironed out for good.

So far the theme seems to be that roadgoing Audis newer than 2016 are tough to find in games.

I'd chalk that up to the natural flow of models. The A4 through to A8 have all moved to new generations in the last two years, and the RS models are only just coming on-stream for all but the A8 in the last few months. Admittedly, given the speed of some other cars' appearances in-game (like the 2019 GT3 RS), new Audis could conceivably be showing up by now, and I'd be surprised if at least one of the new RS models didn't show up by the end of the year.

I do hope the TT-S is kept once the RS does arrive, though...

ForzaRC average team times have been updated:

⬆TEAM 2 – D - G/Team Captain: FH4 Venom - 2:16.840
➡TEAM 5 – R - S/Team Captain: TPR b0x - 2:16.903

Major movement this week as Team 2 jumps from third to first, and Team 6 drops from first to third. Once again every team time got slower.

I wonder; if somebody started a Rivals, parked up and let their console on for a week, couldn’t that drastically affect the average time of a bracket?

Does anybody happen to have a decent list of all of the cars that are banned from Forza 7 online? I've built up an A-Class Wagoneer thinking that I could recreate the dominant days of old on Forza 6, only to realize that I couldn't select it.

The theory was that greifers would use the heavier picks like 120+ mph bulldozers and the open wheeled cars would interlock wheels and cause pile ups.

Of course some of the picks ARE questionable like the MG MGA, Manx, Willy’s Jeep and afew others as they aren’t heavy and aren’t open wheelers.

But as mentioned, some cars are banned in some classes, but not all classes.

I get the original intent was to minimise greifing, the problem however is two fold, griefers will use the next best option and taking cars away doesn’t stop griefers from doing it to begin with, just ask anyone who’s spent time in public hoppers. :p

Basically, it’s like they tried to clean an offshore oil spill with a handkerchief, we appreciate the intent, but you’re gonna need a lot more than just a handkerchief.

I question the point of including these cars if they're going to ban them. And it also looks odd to add a DLC car then blacklist it down the line. Griefers are going to grief, no matter what car.

i guess therse cars are still allowed in their homologation lobby?
I would imagine these bans are only for the class based hoppers. It would be really stupid of them to ban them from divisions as well as that would render over half a dozen divisions completely unusable.

Looking forward to tomorrow's update. Yes, unlocking locked cars and new cars to play with will be great, but the one thing I'm most looking forward to is new car menus screens. I'm a pretty chill guy, but waiting... and waiting... and waiting... for screens to load while trying to choose a new car before the next online race starts is aggravating beyond reason.

With all these updates due tomorrow it feels like a new Forza game to me. I'll be enjoying FM7 like it's just being released for the first time. New cars, hopefully much faster car selection menus. Can't wait.

This update is either going to be a massive improvement or it will break everything... :scared:

And that's most definitely true. Plus I can almost guarantee T10 did not do any quality control to see if anything will break...I'm just anticipating a screw up tomorrow lol

Out of all the new cars being added to the dealership, there has to be at least one with a bugged thumbnail and another with a mysterious bodykit.

Any idea roughly how big I should expect this update to be? I'm stuck on 10Mb/s internet, so it took legit like 30 hours just to download the game a few days ago. Hoping it's not like PUBG where the the way the engine works means that you have like a 9+GB update for just a few changes.

Ahh man I know what you mean. And thinking about it gets me even more hyped! :)

Also agree on the current car menu being slow. I never liked it since the start, so T10 changing this is a huge plus, as well as unlocking cars.

Tomorrow can not come soon enough.
