I like that the system requirements caters for mid-range PC gaming. Accessibility to more PC gamers is a good thing for their sales. And if Xbox Scorpio can play it at 4K/60fps, then I can hope to play at the same frame rate and res as well on my PC.

Now, to find a good, not-so-expensive 4K monitor........

Just watched this () video again, and in question about Off Road and Rally racing Brian Ekberg and Ryan Cooper answered "stay tuned"

Which minute? Thanks

I wonder if replays are going to be 60fps? I used to love watching them from time to time, but it being 30fps you can just see the choppiness to it. Has there been any info on that yet?

Loving what I'm seeing so far but I'm just curious as to how much they'll neuter the replay mode even more than they already have.

Probably not; although I've had many livery downloads (coming up on 100,000 in Forza Horizon 3) I'm no YouTube celebrity with enough clout to influence non-Forza fans.

I've known a few Forza painters to get early access to games in the past however (in order to populate said games with content in time for launch day) so who knows, but that's not something I've been asked about so far.

As if the mention of astronaut driver suits didn't already confirm that with capital letters.
making rossi a girl is very different to stylistic choices for suits, of which there'll be many.
m.rossi is like the top AI in like all forza games. all new players learn to despise him as they get better and crank difficulties up.
and he is a she? ultimate troll!!
:D

about video posted above:
55min in, they say about the new "voices of motorsport", and they say that they have automotive people in, and people that "know how to create a car" , they'll be showing this later summer.
also later on, they say they have new spectating options, and ways to keep on-lobby, these from players requests. nice. hopefully implemented well.
and at around 1:02, he changes game assists DURING the race (erasing damage done on the way).
I also see another new thing in that menu, "FRICTION ASSIST". maybe all the "hard-core" cry babies will be satisfied now if they cant loose their grip in slides.. very hardcore :D if it works like how I think it works, I am very happy its a setting on a slider and not a total gimp of the friction engine.

not only 30fps, but still using very much compressed reference data points for plotting the vehicle, resulting in extra butchered replay. I mean, forza horizon3 runs entirely at 30fps, and its runtime never can be as choppy as a forza replay ;)
protip: its a replay, you make it FOR SHOW!! makes sense you even extrapolate more data points for animation details like weight transfer, suspension travel etc. than runtime, not have it with less animation detail than your runtime :)
this is something that they definitely have not caught up to the great standard polyphony has, probably the one thing they are still so far behind. camera placement for replays too. but I'll give them a pass for that because imo they are not slacking 8)

Can I ask some questions please.

I have PS3 GT (whichever the newest one is, forgot name). I have a new Samsung 10 bit panel/TV.

a. Is Forza similar in that it is a first person simulator or whatever that is called? I get the choice to see the same view from inside the car?
b. Does Forza use any of the same cars and tracks that GT does?
c. I have a Logitech wheel and pedals, it will NOT work with the XBox One X, right?
d. I have the separate platform that you attach the wheel and pedals to, "wheel stand" I think it is. Will that stand work with whatever new wheel I will likely need?
e. What is the best wheel/pedal to buy for this system under $300?

Thanks

a yes
b yes, a superset basically
c correct, nope
d you should check, probably yes
e I'd say thrustmaster tx1is a solid start, but thats my opinion

Rally,off roading,snow - DLC's?Just my 2cnt

Interesting. I think that would be a natural 'expansion' for the Motorsport franchise. The Forzatech engine can handle it, they have the cars (a certain, badass Peugeot seems to be on the horizon *pun intended*) and the upgrades (rally engine, kits, lights, suspensions, tires). So..why not? :)

PS:

Bring them back, Dan.

Dumb question, but I'll likely be preordering tonight on the Xbox Live Store tonight. That will gives me access to download a copy for the PC once purchased right?

I guess not?
you will have access to download a copy in about 20th september I'd guess. game is not ready now for us to download.
but yes, Forza 7 is "xbox play anywhere", if thats what you ask. one purchase is good for both xbox one and pc versions. oh, actually for all 3 versions, scorpio included on its release on november

It makes me kind of sad that the tuner cars from Forza 1 and 2 were dropped. I want to see the Abflug and Veilside Supras, Henessey 800TT Viper, Tommy Kaira Impreza, and all the others make a return too.

Waiting on some news.. :D:D

I asked Dan if we can select individual units for different measures, like speed and power, instead of all metric/all imperial. I think we ones using km/h want to see HP instead of KW. He didn't responded though.

That's one thing that always bothered me as I'd like to use HP (or CV/PS), Nm and Km/h at the same time.

My favourite one was the HKS Evo. Spent countless hours driving that monster around Tsukuba.

so hyped,after playing F6 and F5 fired up F4 even :D

🤬 that thing with a passion. I still have nightmares of it becoming a black dot on the horizon at Road America in FM2, lap after lap after lap...
I hated that and the Corvette race in New York; I think it was the Guldstrand that would just take off if it got into first.

No, you're thinking of the Lingenfelter C5. Both of those events were an utter pain, forcing you to fully upgrade a car just to be competitive and even then they were still super difficult.
