Since it looks that Forza Horizon 6 wont show up until next year, it seems that we will have a least more 6 months of FM only update focus by the forza social medias, with the next update scheduled (i assume) this week

what you guys think that FM team will do next?
More tracks and cars as a minimum, although some quality of life tweaks to the AI would be welcome. I wish the game at least remembered which car you were last driving when exiting to the main menu instead of having to select it each time you go into the tuning and painting menus.

• New Tracks:

Monza(and Imola too) - July
Long Beach - September
Interlagos - November/December

• New Cars:

(LMDH) 499P and Isotta - July
Acura ARX and Mazda RT4P - September
Aston Martin Valkyrie and Peugeot 9x8 - November/December

(GT Cars) 296 GT3, Lambo EVO 2, Maserati GT4 - July
Chevrolet ZO6 GT3 - September
Nissan GTR - November/December

also more GT4 Cars with a special themed update sometime this year

Trans-Am Cars with Long Beach around September!
Formula Indy, as is present on game archives!
Formula E with a special return and partnership this year!
More TC Cars, like GAC for example!

• Changes:

  • Manual Grid for Online
  • Online Lobby Variations Expansion
  • FOMO Cars returning
  • Changes for Career
  • Sector Times Introduction
  • Creative Hub
  • Share Codes
  • Improvements of Personalization
  • Physics rework or tweaks
  • Personal Statistics
  • Improvements for Replay and Photos Slot
  • FSR4 and RTGI for Xbox Series X

• Announcements or surprises(this and next year):

  • Tracks of Motorsport being part of FH6, like Hakone and Fujimi Kaido
  • PS5 Announcement(I will explain why later)
  • Returns of Track like Rio, Praga and new tracks to Forza

WHY, I believe that:

1. About this month update:
U21, I don't see any chances of a track coming! As Fujimi was a tremendous track along with Meetups!
The update will probably come around 26 of June, but, we can see a official statement of T10 this or next week, with a roadmap or only a small teaser/blog post about U21!
But, I see a update that will bring a lot of QoL changes and some interesting content!
A important information is: some FOMO Cars was leaked in archives here this month, what IF, they back in U21? I really don't know!

2. About this year:
WHY, I believe Monza is the next track!
Presented in last Forza, Monza is a track, that can return, and I think the time is July!
499 P is the most voted car, and will make sense too see coming with the Temple of Speed, also, we can see cars replacing Ferrari Challenge and the Lambo Supertrofeo that got excluded of GT3, like 296 GT3 and Lambo EVO 2, also, cars leaked in Horizon, for example, Maserati MC20!
I don't believe they will make a shocking new to track for July, but this update can be a banger, so Monza is a real choice!

I THINK, they will back with old track launching cycle!

After that, Long Beach will return!
But, there is a THEORY and this can make sense:

If they are bringing Interlagos(this can happen), November and December will make more sense then July and September, because...

PS5 Launch is a REAL chance to happen!
After FH6, not being part of Showcase, we might gonna see FM Port for PS5 happening, as this can compensate, the content of FH5, that will not come anymore!

And IF they are gonna bring it a port for PS5, something bigger they need to prepare, and Interlagos is the BIG THING!
A new track to Forza, that can make a debut with PS5 Launch of Forza Motorsport and bring a whole fresh air for the franchise with new players and more expansion!
And this will bring more hype for Forza Horizon 6 aswell as a strategy!

3. Changes:
IF a PS5 Launch happens, they will bring some changes for Multiplayer and Career obviously, for example, more lobbies variations and also more permanent Tours, as this already happened in U20 - Forzaversary!
Changes that can make leagues more good, like, Manual Grid Ordering!
And... What happened to Creative Hub and Share Codes? They got delayed or canceled itself? I think they both can make a debut sometime this year too.

Remember, these are only theories and it is my opinion!
I am excited, as I love so much this Franchise!
And these things can happen, specially after T10 listening to the fans and also, the updates being better then ever!
Fingers crossed! And, thanks, for reading the post!
IF some part I am correct, please give me the credit🤣.

Looking at the F1 schedule (which is likely the wrong thing to do), what if Monza came in September and Interlagos in November? Could we get something else in July?

We could technically get anything, as I don't believe there's any significant evidence we're actually getting Monza next beyond it being a highly requested track.

But, yeah, I wouldn't put any correlation into FM's track releases alongside Formula 1. Given how strict & exclusive that license is, T10 releasing F1 tracks conveniently alongside the real F1 races might irk the FIA who seem to have a lengthy hand in how F1 games are handled.

To be honest, I think they will continue as they have done over the past year or so:

  • A couple of permanent career tours like the 20th anniversary update
  • Probably 1 or 2 new tracks this year (probably COTA and/or Monza as they can re-use existing assets) and maybe Interlagos towards the end of the year as a Christmas update (Nr 1 most popular track)
  • In terms of cars, they will probably continue to flesh out the most popular divisions (Forza Proto H and Forza GT3) with new additions like the Acura ARX-06, Alpine A424, and potentially also LMH) and for GT3 the obvious contenders are the 296 GT3, Vantage GT3, Corvette ZO6 GT3.R, Hurácan GT3 Evo 2 and AMG GT3 Evo)
  • If the Racing Heroes Car Pack was a success, I wouldn't be surprised if we could see 2 or 3 more car packs this year (and if for one definitely wouldn't mind paying another €5 for 5 cars)

It looks like we will have another week until we at least hear about update 21. Remember update 20 is a 7 week cycle and we are just starting week 6 I believe. As far as what's next though I can't even begin to guess. We haven't had a roadmap laid out, I would imagine we could get one this week but probably not knowing T10. But probably a random mixed bag of cars with ONLY two being new to FM 👎, NO TRACK since we just got FujimiKaido, a couple of QOL fixes, two or three car sounds fixed and same ol style of new events. Probably won't get those big changes to career and share/creative hub stuff until a few more months out.

Quite probably, they went all out with the last update and it was a great one that must have taken a lot of resources. I especially enjoy the track day meetups for some hot lapping :) It's also a great way to level up cars and use cars I would otherwise not use a lot (like a P1 GTR or the road going Valkyrie)

A roadmap would be really good right now to give clarity and direction, even if it's just a modest one.

In the meantime, this game is a blast :) With Le Mans coming up I've been doing some custom Free Play races in LMDH and GT3 at Le Mans with the lap count set so that the race lasts about 2 hours with time scaling at 12x for a beautiful 24 hour cycle. It's just great and something no Forza has ever offered before :) Just a few more cars needed to make it even better :)

If they keep chipping away at the LMDH/LMH and GT3 rosters over the next few updates then I'll be a little happy in that regard. We are due for the Acura ARX-06 next and hopefully the 499p sneaks in there at some point since it is now the most requested car by a mile. As a wild card, I could also see the Aston Valkyrie LMH be added at some point before the year is over too. We are also close to having a full modern GT3 roster with only the newer Aston Vantage, the Z06 GT3.R and 296 GT3 missing.

What I'm really looking forward to is the option to remove AI customization, in the same way as the drivatars liveries.

I'm tired of racing against Camaro safety cars, Mad Max UTEs, hypercars with active aero replaced by Forza wings, classics race cars with custom wheels...

Same. It looks ridiculous when all I want is cars that are stock looking or race spec'd like mine. Even some of the goofy liveries that are applied to AI cars throws things off a little bit. We should be able to choose between real world/race liveries or custom player ones if we so choose.

This! There should be an option to force cars to be stock in Free Play, and in the career probably indeed something to exclude visual modifications like wheels, bodykits, wings etc..

On the rules page for a freeplay race, just add a box for starting grid position. Right under rolling or standing start, random or PI, then starting grid position. It should be easy.

That would be number 1 for me but number 2 is to finally fix the almost totally dim rear looking camera displays in race cars.

Challenge The Grid would be even better for me. That way I'd know how fast my car is against the AI before picking a grid position.

Been playing Forza Motorsport 2 is Xenia the last week. Modern T10 can learn a lot from this game! The career structure and variety of event restrictions makes for a very fun time. Yes it's basically just how Gran Turismo used to be but it really works. I prefer that over the later "world tour" stuff. But I'd take a Forza 6/7 type career over what we have in FM23.

Well, it doesn't look like support is ending yet, so let's see what update 21 and beyond might bring us in the way of career changes...

All I want at the moment from each update are:

  • Additional UDP telemetry channels
  • The ability to use Spec Series Balance of Performance in Private Multiplayer and Free Play.

Content is content, but the above would make my life in-game a whole lot easier.
Fixed that for ya. I 100% want Spec BoP to be an option for private legaus, as that'll only help the game stay healthy, but Free Play and Rivals is how I usually relax and/or practice outside of multiplayer, so I'd love to have that option for "Offline" racing.

while some suffer the lack of race cars, other suffers with the lack of intresting econoboxes....
I've been meaning to compile a list of cars I'd like to see with FM now that it's crossed many of the popular cars off my wishlist, I'd like to see some obscure stuff like these.

First up, everyone always loves the original levin, but they are all fantastic cars, even though they went FWD after the original.

AE92 Toyota Corolla FXGT
And a Corolla FXGT for good measure

A31 Nissan Cefiro
Similar to the Chaser, this would make a nice addition to the tuner community.

1st gen Nissan Primera
Even better seeing this in race spec, but the consumer model would also be lovely to see.
500px-Nissan_Primera_1990.jpg

4th gen Legacy B4 GT
A bit bias here, I owned a Spec.B wagon of these, so would love to see it back in the game, maybe with a proper JDM Spec.B bodykit to go with it.
latest

V3-5 Sti Wagon
We get the 22b, but it would be nice to have a more consumer model, and the wagon would be a good differentiator

Legacy GT-B
Also why not the 2nd gen GT-B wagon

4th gen Golf GTI
I know we get the R32, but a FWD version of the 4th or 5th gen GTI's would be nice, or even just a FWD swap

2nd gen Integra
The 3rd gen is the darling we all love, but I'm quite partial to the 2nd gen, it's a beautiful car, and while we're at it, a front bodykit mod for the Acura that gives it the Honda headlights would be nice.

Toyota Altezza
The Altezza or Lexus, either or would be fine IMO

What's funny/sad is that there is an option in private multiplayer lobbies in the "Cars" page for "Allow upgrades on/off" that should be in single player, but for some reason they just can't be bothered to align the private lobby options with free play options. This goes back to FM4 even, where you could hand select AI cars for private lobbies, but despite it being a highly requested feature for Free Play, couldn't in any single player mode for some unknown reason.

4th gen Golf GTI
I know we get the R32, but a FWD version of the 4th or 5th gen GTI's would be nice, or even just a FWD swap

Yeah I hate that we keep getting the AWD models when it would be far more useful to get the GTI and just AWD swap it. I don't understand why a FWD swap isn't a thing, it's more realistic for a lot of these AWD cars than AWD swapping a Viper or whatever it is, and it would open up a ton of options for both leagues and class building for Rivals/public lobbies... There is a vote thing for it on the forum, but as usual it doesn't get much attention, probably because a lot of Forza players kinda have a "eEwW fRoNt WhEeL dRiVe SuX" attitude.

While I love wagons I don't really care about having them added to Forza unless we get a bunch of rival wagons, but other than that cool list of cars, the little Toyotas in particular would be fun and fit in well with some other models we have in the game.

Formula E with a special return and partnership this year!
Formula E is exclusive to ubisoft group, it is not coming anytime soon until their contract expire
for now only can show up in ubisoft and gameloft games, and asphalt just announced a FE update
PS5 Launch is a REAL chance to happen!
After FH6, not being part of Showcase, we might gonna see FM Port for PS5 happening, as this can compensate, the content of FH5, that will not come anymore!
you forgot that it also probally means a Switch 2 port for Horizon 5 is even more likely and probally they will do it next before FH6
not just it, but the fact that some showcase games showed as xbox exclusive even reinforces my theory that they are keeping FM as exclusive to satisfy console fans and beacuse they think FM wouldnt sell as horizon beacuse of GT7
  • A couple of permanent career tours like the 20th anniversary update

i feel that they will bring old temporary tours to be permament, they already had hinted at it and the 20th anniversary was considereda sucess, maybe extra feedback about it on forums may help it become a thing
The most popular divisions is the GT3,ProtoH,Formula Mazda,Touring cars and NASCAR
I hope they focus more on Formula cars, NASCAR and Touring cars

i would tolerate protos beacuse they are asked a lot by fans and rare in other racing games, but i would hate a lot if some nice econobox or some nice touring car would be replaced by another variation of GT3

Updated or not i feel FM has enough GT3 and would be better focus in GT4 and otther racing series, i hope the indycar rumor is conmfirmed beacuse would be a cool different car to the game and something cool to race at (Specially with a 7-Eleven paint scheme)
I've been meaning to compile a list of cars I'd like to see with FM now that it's crossed many of the popular cars off my wishlist, I'd like to see some obscure stuff like these.
imo those are not "obscure", i see some "JDM Fans" talking about those all the time
but you know what is really obiscure even if they are using on racing to this day in Japan and were tested even by James May himself? The Honda N-One
