Formula E is exclusive to ubisoft group, it is not coming anytime soon until their contract expire
for now only can show up in ubisoft and gameloft games, and asphalt just announced a FE update

you forgot that it also probally means a Switch 2 port for Horizon 5 is even more likely and probally they will do it next before FH6
not just it, but the fact that some showcase games showed as xbox exclusive even reinforces my theory that they are keeping FM as exclusive to satisfy console fans and beacuse they think FM wouldnt sell as horizon beacuse of GT7

i feel that they will bring old temporary tours to be permament, they already had hinted at it and the 20th anniversary was considereda sucess, maybe extra feedback about it on forums may help it become a thing

The most popular divisions is the GT3,ProtoH,Formula Mazda,Touring cars and NASCAR
I hope they focus more on Formula cars, NASCAR and Touring cars

i would tolerate protos beacuse they are asked a lot by fans and rare in other racing games, but i would hate a lot if some nice econobox or some nice touring car would be replaced by another variation of GT3

Updated or not i feel FM has enough GT3 and would be better focus in GT4 and otther racing series, i hope the indycar rumor is conmfirmed beacuse would be a cool different car to the game and something cool to race at (Specially with a 7-Eleven paint scheme)

imo those are not "obscure", i see some "JDM Fans" talking about those all the time
but you know what is really obiscure even if they are using on racing to this day in Japan and were tested even by James May himself? The Honda N-One

I don't see anything about FE's deal with Trackmania being "exclusive" and they're not even real Formula E cars they have in that game so why would it be "exclusive" huh!

Good thing that's not what he said, then.

Tried doing some endurance series featured multiplayer, since the vintage prototypes are pretty interesting to drive. At most saw four others in the lobby, all left by the time the race started. I get endurance is not popular but that's disappointing.

Yeah, unfortunatley the Endurance Series lost a lot of steam once the next update after its introduction was launched. Typically it's a lot more populated during the weeks where the classes are Proto-H/LMP2/GT3, but even then it can be a little hit-or-miss.

I've only done a handful of the endurance races, but the highest I've seen actually finish a race was 6 cars total between the classes, and that was only one time, all the others it was 3 or 4 total... It's gotten to the point I don't even bother anymore as usually the actual race is over in about 10 minutes from people quitting or crashing (and then usually quitting), and I don't need to hotlap for another 50 minutes.

The endurance races seem kinda the opposite of the sort of "culture" that hoppers have been cultivating for the last 15 years. Most people who want to invest an hour in a race find that in private lobby leagues I think.

I was poking around on the Nissan Heritage site looking at what race cars they had, and found these two beauties I had never seen before:

The '91 Nissan Saurus Jr.: It's got a little 1L motor in it from a Nissan March making about 70hp, but only weighs ~880lbs and was used for spec racing and at the Nissan Racing School.

And its successor, the '98 Saurus: It's got a 150hp motor from a Primera, and weighs just 1125lbs. It was also used at the Nissan Racing School.

Both would make cool/unique cars for spec racing in Forza that would look good with little throwback Can Am/Group 6 liveries on them, and would be perfect paired with someplace like Tsukuba. While I highly doubt it, it would be cool if they were among the things scanned when they were there.

The update got leaked inside of the game?View attachment 1456920
Yup, apparently a bunch of stuff was accidentally leaked in-game earlier. From what I've seen, the game has already been patched to remove said leaks.

The two biggest attention grabbers are Indycar, and the Champions Cup. With the latter, we may finally be getting a way to earn missed FOMO cars.

I saw some archives got updated too. There was little Monza images added, can someone confirm that or am I crazy? Hahaha.

It was nice to get the old Ford GT out again tonight. I haven't driven it in a long time. Got it to level 50 and never went back to it. I've got too many cars just like that. "Oh it's at 50 now? Goodbye". I really need to go back and use some of those cars again.

I feel like that's a bit of a problem for all of these games that try to have "max level" grinds. In order to "progress" you need to stop driving something you obviously enjoy driving and go drive something else.

I don't bother with it in Forza since I do league racing I tend to max out a car level before we even start the first race because of practice/tuning, but I experience it in other games, most recently For Honor... once I get a character to rep 8 (which unlocks all their customization stuff) I stop playing them to work on another character and unlock their stuff, even when I enjoy playing as them much less.

Something I did notice with the Ford GT is it’s buyable in the Autoshow, now that many sound daft, But the Ford GT was a prize car from the Builders Cup and those cars aren’t available for purchase at the Autoshow, like the LFA and Challenger Demon for example. 🧐

Which is why I bought 2 of them, as I'm sure that will change once the discount period ends. I have one that's lightly modified to the top of S-Class, and another with the widebody and rear wing for R-Class. At this point I don't have it in me to dedicate myself to grinding out the Builders Cup events, as multiplayer is much, much more enjoyable on the whole.

I'm 99% sure one of the devs said the Ford GT availability was a permanent change so that it was available for the 20th anniversary stuff without having to be unlocked.

I'm hoping they do it for the others too as I really can't be bothered to slog through the single player stuff, but I kinda want the 993 GT2.

I'll just "like" your post and leave it there.

Also, since T10 have just "leaked" large parts of the next update, does this mean that T10 have to ban themselves from the game

there has still spec racing with saurus jr. to this day, also i already had posted about this car on the forums

as somone that like indycars, spec series and econocars i see this leak as a win that gives me hype

Pouring one out for Ande3200 who will only have the lack of drag racing to complain about now. Just don't lock them to specific cars like the Spirit Of FM tour, T10. That'd be wack.
From what I saw on reddit the tours seem race car focused.

Sure, as long as it's not the same race car each time.

I'm sure the Insiders on here are biting their tongues hard right now but if Champions Cup is an archive of previous career tours it could be what some of us have been waiting for for a long time.

Is this confirmed anywhere? I'm not really accepting Google AI answer that it isn't, although the Formula E website lists a bunch of current games, seems weird to shut out Forza who've had them before?

Guess Motorfest could be a good place for one, although they managed to wrangle an F1 car too, surely Forza could do that?

Or just give us some fantasy cars that perform the same and look really similar?

Yeah how bout no. Fantasy cars has never been a thing in Forza games. Oddball or vehicles from other franchises , yes but not fantasy made up cars. There's a possibility we could get Formula E back down the line and it would be welcomed. I would honestly take current gen Formula E over current gen F1.

I'm with @RolexGTP here - cars which were made up by other people like the Chryslus Rocket 69 are okay but I wouldn't want them to go down the GTA route of creating fantasy vehicles themselves. There's no real guarantee they'd be any good at it and driving them would feel kinda meaningless to me.
