Thanks guys. Yeah it was nerve racking but I think I did good. Today was a hands-on interview and I got through it without many mistakes. I will get a call back on Thursday to see if I got the job.
 
Went on the Auction House and bought my first car from there....(the Audi we're racing)....saved $900,000 now I want to buy something else with the money I saved..I guees this is what women feel like when they buy shoes

Carlos, D and C don't equal "all" the lower class races, but I get your point. :lol: We can run some laps but I don't think it will make much difference...I spend too much time in the lower to middle classes to be any good in these fast cars. The little time I've had to play recently I've been working on some E and C class tunes....trying to get some top 100 times out of them before I put them on my storefront. I'm close but I may need Forcone to run them for me to get that last .3 or.4 out of them. :p
 
Send me a good tune and I'll race you. I just like racing with you, don't need to be R2 :D But if I can motivate you to do R2, I'm in!!

Ok, hopefully I'll see you on tomorrow. We can run some in R2 no problem. :cheers: I think overall we're pretty even now...I'm faster in F thru C, we're pretty close in B and A, and you're faster in S and higher....that pretty much sums it up.

Cool! I try to beat Fezz's time and after that, if you want, we can bring out the B's and A's and have some nice battles :cheers:

Forgot to post, spotted this on my walk back to the car. Looks like the Dunlop-ad car. The face of the officer is priceless :lol: 'What the f... is this thing? :confused:'
 
Btw Fezz, where did you found the whole second? That's bloody fast. I have to say, my Audi is STOCK. Didn't do any tuning.. Maybe you can provide me with a good tune..... :o

I can answer that question. Manual w/clutch and a good tune. I'm sure you can pick up a good tune from the storefront...have you ever tried to learn to drive with the clutch? It doesn't make as much difference in the R classes but it helps a lot in the lower ones.

Daniel-San, take any car to the drag strip and make a half or quarter mile run using manual w/ clutch. Change the settings to manual only and race your manual w/clutch ghost. The manual w/clutch car will accelerate faster. If you look at the leaderboards you'll notice all the top guys run manual w/clutch.

No I never tried it out. Might do that... What button is for the clutch then? I don't think I have the time to push an extra button... :scared: I shift with B and X..
 
Im not arguing with you....I was wondering exactly what it did....I know this sounds stupid but I have tried coasting around corners with my clutch down to go faster sometimes.....just a thought....................Ill go back to buying shoes
 
Yes and no. It wouldn't slow you down but it you have less mechanical grip. (as far as that goes in Forza...???)

I think most pad users assign the clutch to A...that way you can push A and B or A and X together to engage the clutch/ shift at the same time.

No worries....I didn't take it as you arguing with me. I was just trying to show you that using the clutch gives you an acceleration advantage. Manual w/clutch is definitely faster once you master it. I don't know about coasting around corners with the clutch depressed or shoe shopping. :p
