I absolutely love Land Rover's! I recently got a BMW, but now I want an Evoque! Th baby Ranger, I adore them.

I've always thought the Mercedes G-Wagen is the best vehicle for off-road out of its competition (mainly Jeep and Land Rover). It has front, rear, and center differentials plus great reliability. But since there seems to be a lot of Land Rover fans here I thought I would post up this video/documentary:



If anyone is interested in expedition style off-roading it's definitely worth watching.

Best part of it... all on stock POS Bridgestone Dueler HTs. Next time I'm bringing another photog, because it was impossible to take pictures on the rock climbs. No way I'm letting go of the steering wheel while doing that!

Imo the best 4x4 vehicle for the money and as top gear has shown, almost impossible to kill. I use it for trails and rock crawling.
As you can tell by the pictures, she gets used and abused
