I didn't even know this thread was in existence. lol. Was wondering how you guys can race and walk away and don't even talk about the action. Yeah , it was some great stuff out there today. Nice racing going on. Starting in the back gave me the opportunity to see the carnage take place. lol

Most the wrecks seem to be people going off track and then getting back on track but crossing the whole track to do so or taking a huge amount of it. I manage to avoid some of it, other times though I got victimized. lol

Great fun today, you guys don't talk much though. I guess it's a PS3 trait ;) lol

lol, I've been sitting here days flipping through the main forum saying "Where the hell is everybody?". Nobody gave me the secret decoder ring to find the joint :( Even though I'm rolling with the guys I've been racing with some years now I'm still down with you guys so don't worry about me flaking out on you fellas. Wish you can join more than one club but not a big deal.

I got a pretty hard out of the blue snow storm over here so it might be the reason why I was seeing some lag from some people, not everyone though.
 
Drat. It'll be there on Tuesday then.

It's been converted to RWD and stands at S695. Will probably work up a tune by then as well.

By the way, who's the showoff with the 1M? :p

The orange 1M is mine...nice little car but I need to work on a good tune for it. :)

Had a great time racing the Supras. I only started tuning mine about an hour before the race, so I was pretty happy with how it was driving. The first four cars stayed tight up until the last few laps when ZR1Chris and I fell back. I held the losing battle for third through the whole race I believe. :lol:
 
Yeah that was some really great racing. I thought I was going to lead from wire to wire for a while there. I started seeing DeadlyDc getting closer in my rear view and started over driving the car, especially once I got passed.


Glad "The Loaner" got put to use. I will keep putting a loaner car for our weekly races.
 
I did the single turbo swap. The Loaner car was basically done using the auto upgrade with a few slight changes like the wheels.
 
Dang missed it because was looking at my new toy haha. But my Supra was AWD... and pink. I was high lay off.

I'm not sure why but Forza seems to make some peoples connections incompatible. Everyone in the game will be fine but 2 people will be lagging horribly for each other and no one else.

It's like everyones fine for me and I'm fine for them.

Everyones fine for you and you're fine for them.

Between us, we're magic genies going on carpet rides! (Hypothetical, I don't think I noticed you lagging in particular).

With my Supra, I built it, bought a random design for it and than went to sleep. Didn't even get a chance to fix the gear ratios haha!
 
I saw that design on the storefront. Looked at it, and decided to just stick a number plate on mine and be done for the day.


Re: Lag: Satan, you were lagging just a touch when we started, and then it looked like everybody was fine in all the rest of the races. Some of the voices were cutting out badly at the beginning also. Maybe Chris' connection improved a touch.
 
I've noticed that the start of the race and loading screens tend to make voices cut out.

After the start of the race it's usually fine.
 
I couldn't hear anyone too good at first but it got much better after those first two short races we did.
 
Do you think we could do championships in the future? Something very similar to this, where we race a random car on a random track, just with points standings going throughout the club. So if someone doesn't qualify for one week, they won't get points for that week? I really like these types of races, they put an emphasis on tuning and driver skill, and that's what makes it fun.
 
Looks like you guys had some great racing there. Too bad I couldn't join in, since today was a pretty busy day. I think I'll have to play Saturdays by ear, since it'll take a good amount of Saturdays/Sundays to get my dads shed built.
 
My god,
I'm not able to tune my car,i have to spend some more time in the games menu and i think i need a good forza manual
I prefer forza over gt5,but it is like a new world for me

I think they're still in the game. At least I hope so.
 
Yeah they are still in but I plan on switching it up. Sorry bro but I just don't want to run Supras 2 weeks in a row. I want to keep every week feeling new and fresh with different combos. Maybe after a couple months we will give that year Supra a try.
 
Thanks, and yes, it was. That was the only one I was able to participate in.:( Since I didn't get to the first warmup race. It was the second one. Then I had to go to work.
 
Yeah they are. That's the Celica Supra correct? A buddy of mine ownd one. He had it swapped with an RZ motor and for a DIY job in the 90's, that thing was fast!
