Hey Phil, maybe we can do it again tomorrow with some tuned cars? I was pretty terrible in those slow untuned cars :banghead: I won't suck as bad in some cars that I've actually driven before. :D

Anyone wanna help get the FPM name a lil higher? ;)

Absolutely! Now I just need to try and find more time in the day. If we all chip in we will climb the leaderboards in time.
 
I just put my S Class Aventador in the club Garage. On Normal tracks (i.e no super short or super long) I can lap about 3 seconds faster than the standard R3 709 Aventador :)

I'll check out your storefront next time I'm on. I got some decent shots up on my storefront as well, but it seems like the only way you can get views is to actually go out of your way and generate some traffic.

Since the Scirroco R is the freebie, what do you guys say about a completely spec Scirroco series?

Sounds awesome, though I wish it was spec Scirrocos from the 80's. I'll just have to create some sweet 80's style livery for one.

This weeks qualifying event:

Rivals>Open Time Attack>British Production


This Saturday's race:

Car: 2008 Aston Martin DBS modded and tuned for S-Class.

Track: Hockenheim (Full) 15 Laps


** I will once again provide a loaner for this event. I will let everyone know once it's in the garage. I will most likely be putting it in tonight.


Special event:

With the new DLC out and the free car being the 2011 Volkswagen Scirocco R, we will run a 10 lap race with it at Tsukuba (Full). *No modifications* (Feel free to buy one and paint it how you want) This race will be run immediately after the 15 lap Aston race.

On another note, I've thrown a couple quick slightly tuned spec Scirocco R tunes in my storefront (free). Should give 'em a go and see if either would work for a good spec series.

UPDATE:

The Aston Martin Loaner has been added to the club garage. It's Blue and Yellow.
 
Because of my injury I cant drive and go purchase the season pass. Is that VW whatever still going to be available even if i cant download it?
 
The VW Scirocco is the free car in the DLC pack :)

Also, if you have an attached credit card or a lot of MS Points, you can get the season pass from the dashboard and FM4 marketplace :)

Also, using the manual w/clutch feels like I'm cheating its so much faster :) Another question, for those that do use the manual w/clutch, do you keep the throttle at 100% or do you lift slightly? Is one method faster than the other?

I only lift if I have some steering input. If the car is straight and fully stable then it's 100% the whole way. It's how I used to drive my real life car when I went to the drag strip so I don't feel like it's cheating at all.

Yea I didn't mean it in a bad way. I love that you get rewarded for more difficulty, I'm at max difficulty now. Before, using regular manual, the pro setting was pretty rough, now I'm winning by a good margin (up to class B anyway).

Now, maybe I'll go back and try the Stock Car Sears Point Rival again...maybe without TCS too :lol:

It was fun! You guys are faster than me, but I'm getting better. I hope to have some free time tomorrow to do it again.
 
So...I made the top 10 in the contest that ISR is holding for the CSR Elite - If you have an account over there I would appreciate your vote. That would make two FPMotorsports members testing the new wheel(Crispy) - what other club could say that.
 
Sorry Vital but i'm not registered on that site. Good luck though. 👍 Great to see some club members getting the CSRE before the general public!
