Cheers man, I'm all better now. Even though it's not a big deal, it still sucks to get your race spoiled by faulty equipment. My driving was going quite well, even though I wasn't super consistent. Hope you had a good race. What happened to Chris and Epic Driver?

edit: I think I read somewhere that people have had issues with Fanatec wheels while using the MS headseat connected to the wheel. I just plugged it in for the race to hear you... Could that be the cause....?? Have to experiment when I dare boot the game again!

Edit: Forcone, you asked what happened to Chris. He didn't cross the finish line in time, before the end race timer hit zero. As far as Epic Driver, I'm not sure what happened to him.

Thanks for the invites this morning. I worked out how to accept the invite but I kept getting a network error so couldnt race...... Not sure if itss got something to do with my connection... Getting that fixed in the new year. May just have to settle for rivals mode for now.

Looked like it was a good race that I missed today. Sorry I was busy partying. Partying because we are the DIVISION 1 CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONS! We are considered to be the best team in California and ranked 10th in all of America! You don't know how amazing it feels to be the head D-Line coach and I'm so proud of my boys! More about it will be posted in the lounge.

What happened with your wheel?

I think I had just under ~200m lead over Carlos when going up the hill before the hairpin thing I got the typical full lock, full throttle syndrome. I tried to reboot the wheel while grinding the wall, but it's so damn slow that I couldn't make it, really pissed me off Well, what can you do. It was fun racing with you till then.

Just sucked, cause I really waited eagerly to race with you, then something like that happened.

PS. Was anyone else using clutch? I felt like I was riding a rocket in the start!

Wow, I've had that happen with my GT2 wheel a couple of times so I know the feeling. It's too bad that it cost you the race Forcone. Thanks for sending me the replay Chris....I'm gonna watch it in a few minutes. 👍

I think with a lap or 2 more we would have a good battle! You gained almost a second per lap on me on those last three laps!

I've had that happen also. Happened on the first lap of the Camaro race a few weeks back. I think it's a Forza glitch. It would happen with my MS wheel from time to time.

I was also using the clutch. It's much faster on the straights.

Yeah, I could pretty much tell right away that you weren't using the clutch by how well I was able to pull on you on the straights (especially that front straight).

I've watched the replay and I think you're right. Forcone gave you an early Christmas present with his wheel problems. Looks like TheEpicDriver quit after he fell kinda far behind...and Chris made a few mistakes that kept him out of contention...I think I'll be able to make next week's race as long as it's before 3pm EST.

Chris, Monday before 4pm is better for me but I'm sure it won't be a good time for some others. I think it would be better if you can get a consensus from the active club racers and schedule the race for the day and time that works for the majority of guys that you know will show up. That said, Monday at 3pm works for me. 👍

I think monday would suit me best also (~3pm EST being latest time I could join), but honestly, don't make it too big of a deal if most can join on friday!
