At first I thought those AutoX races were lame......but now I find them to be so addicting. One of the best features, go figure.

If you haven't yet, check out some of the top leaderboard replays, INSANE how quick people are through those barrels.
Yeah I have no idea how they do it. I am really liking the different car/track combos. BTW does anyone know when these update?

JBS
Just checked out the original post and everything is looking really legit now. Won't be surprised if we hit the 100 members limit before the end of the year.

We are only 4 away according to the doc. (although I know not everyone has officially joined in-game)

viLe styLe did a great job with the OP. It's a great introduction to the club.

Not sure how to post videos, but this was a replay camera that I found way too familiar...

Hey guys, I hate to ask of you, but to those who have a GTP account, do you think you could vote for me in this poll? https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=229227 It would be the first time for me to touch an Xbox wheel, and I'd love it if you could help me out a little. I don't think I could ever repay you guys if you did vote for me, I just know it will help incredibly! I hope this isn't against the AUP, if it is, I sincerely, sincerely apologize. I will edit my post immediately if that's the case.

Unfortunately, this post will serve as my resignation from the FPM club. I told some my friends that if they bought Forza I'd be in there club with them. And as with most people, Real Friends > Internet Friends. So I hope for the best to everyone in FPM club.

I am going to miss being in a competitive team, going from a 70+/- team rank in circuit to 15,000 50,000 team rank is teh suck.

Sorry to hear that man. Damn. You were our top qualifier from the first week too. I'm going to have to try and take advantage this week and grab the pole.

So how do the numbers in the doc work? I'd like #21 but that was already taken by the time I signed up, I assume the green highlight represents active club members or something like that. If so is there a way to 'demote' that member so someone who cares can have said number?

I'm going to be looking into who is actually in the club and who isn't. If there are members that are in the OP but not in the club then they will be cut from the OP and those numbers will open up so stay tuned the next few days for this. If a number opens up that you want feel free to change your number. First come first serve.

I might qualify just to keep you on your toes :D

Nice I need the challenge.

ATTENTION:

I have cleaned up the google doc in the OP. I have deleted a numerous amount of names that decided they were going to fill it out and then disappear or they have left for other clubs. For those of you that would like to change your number to one that has been freed up this is your opportunity to do so.

For members in the future. If you are going to just sign up and never look at this thread again or take part in club activities of any sort then don't bother signing up please. You are taking a spot that could be of greater use to someone else.

Also if you decide you want to leave the club that is ok but please let me know so I can remove you from the doc and free up a space and car number for someone else.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me! :D I am nearing third place now, just two votes down!!! Again, thank you so, so much, you helped me incredibly.

Been doing some Rivals today, got to second behind Eric in the American Drag one in monthly and while testing I beat his time, just cant replicate it when it counts. Also got some real nice times laid down for the AutoX at Indy with the American Muscle cars. Made about 400K in that one alone.

I did have a 11.03 before the leaderboard wipe...then I got a little burned out of that event. I wish the drag races let you just keep on attempting the race instead of selecting "restart", letting the race manu load up, selecting "start race", waiting for it to load, then the whole revving sequence...etc.

If you use a clutch you should be able to beat my current time, because I didn't use it for that entry.

I'm going to announce the qualifying event tomorrow morning as usual. I'm still thinking of exactly what to do for Saturday. I may change the start time to see if more qualifiers show up.

Cool, I'm off Saturday, so if the time is convenient I'll join in. I need to hop online sometime this week so I can get used to driving with real people again.

QUALIFYING:

This weeks qualifying event: (Starts now and ends Friday at midnight est)

Rivals>Open Time Attack>Asian Production

Track: Suzuka Circuit

Restrictions

Car make: Asian

Class: C

Saturdays race: (read carefully)
2pm est

This week I would like to try something to test the level of competition. I want to see how close the racing will be with this type of scenario.

Saturdays race will be as follows. It will be a 15 lap race at Suzuka Circuit "West Circuit" All Participants will be required to use a 1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo upgraded and tuned for B-Class. If you do not have the funds for this vehicle or simply don't want to buy one there will be one supplied to you which is currently in the club garage. It's blue and dubbed "The Loaner". This car is already modified at B/500.

We will wait approximately 10 minutes and run 2 random races during that time to loosen up and while we wait for everyone to enter the lobby. Top 12 qualifiers (as well as the provisionals) will be invited first then after the first race is run the rest of the club will receive an invite and whoever gets in before the lobby fills, is in.

This is not a championship race so this race will not be awarded any points. It's just to test a concept to see if it makes for fun and close racing.

I will announce the race results here on this thread.

Once the race is over there will be more random races most likely immediately afterwards.

If anyone has any questions please ask.

BTW I will most likely be opening another thread with a poll to find out what is the best time for Saturday racing. However this Saturdays race will remain at 2pm est. The poll will likely affect the following Saturday.

Asian Production time attack in Suzuka is really fun. However, a good tuning setup makes a huge difference, because the track is pretty smooth with similar turns. Good luck everyone, should be fun :)

I just realized, if multiple people can be using the Club cars at any time (as they obviously can be), it would be very easy to have a controlled Spec race, but it might be a little visually boring.

I will do my best to join in saturday. Hopefully I have the time to get some qualifying going.

Nice, I did this race by chance not long ago. Will probably try different cars as I really was just using my minimally modified Gen 1 Speed3, actually extremely close to my modifications in real life.

Apparently for this weeks qualification, the leaderboard car is the Civic Si Coupe; running high 55's and low 56's. Other popular cars are the MX-5 and the Superlight plus the Civic 1.5 VTi.

I really need to start tuning more cars, I have yet to have an extended play period and the Car Setting Save Bug is really getting to me.

I would hope to be on this saturday if I qualify.

Agreed. That's why the car I provided is just a loaner car for people who either forget to get one ready for Saturday or just didn't have the time to prep a car or simply don't feel like having to buy and modify their own.

It's just there in case of...

This way everyone will be certain to have a car to race with.

I will be removing that car after Saturday.

Bummer, but don't be a stranger!

Attention: Just made a couple corrections to the announcement above in regards to Saturday's race. Nothing major.

I'm just curious if there could be 2 races? If not no big deal I think its still fun to go for qualifying. Though my regular shift doesn't allow participation at that time.

There will only be one race that will be 15 laps with the specific car I chose along with the results that will be posted. However like I said before there will be several more random races that will also be run on Saturday.

voted for you cc49! good luck dude.

ill be on later today to do my qualifying laps, there are some fast racers in this club!

I'm at work looking at the leaderboard, and it looks like the Civic Si Coupe (is that the new one?) is dominating that leaderboard. I wonder if that's still FWD.

I'm not sure which year that is. I for one am going to try using something else (until the last day of qualifying at least.)

Going to take a break from Fallout for a while. When I cool off I'm going to tackle the Time Attack, good thing is I won't have to rage at dumb AI!!!

Again, thank you for everyone who voted for me! I have great news coming from the poll as well! It looks like I just passed up #3, and only have one more before I tie #2, so it looks like I could possibly test this wheel, as long as #4 doesn't get a bunch of people to suddenly vote for him. Again, I thank everyone of you, it really means a lot to me!
