It was brilliant. That was the most ****ing stupid mistake I've ever made. Was so concentrated on choosing my line that I forgot to look at the shadows which I used as reference. By the time I realized, I was already 50-100m too far. You cannot believe how much that pissed me off after a perfect race. Other than that my FFB died in the end of lap 3 which slowed me down A LOT.
 
There was no openings for me to pass so I just stood back lol. The r2 AI ended up messing up Wiggs at the end of the last lap, so I tried to make the jump but accidentally cut the corner and almost spun.

My little 4 cylinder couldnt keep up for anything on the straights, even with drafting lol. Being so far behind after the straights just made me rush and mess up my lines llol.
 
Sorry i bumped you hennessey. I suffered from that engine cutoff weird glitch thing 2 or 3 times. Not sure if you guys are familiar with it. I get it when downshifting and braking. My car will go to a dead idle and I get no brakes for a sec. :banghead:

But Hamster, you and your car were amazingly quick. I can't get it. You outbraked me every single time and went a tad faster on the straights. And beat me in the corners. Amazing build&tune I have to say! And not bad driving either!

edit: Come to think of it, braking must be my Achilles' heel. Fezz has always outbraked me, and now you. Damn, I must get those CSP's! 💡

Sucks, I was having a great race with Fezz, until I got too close to those yellow strips, and and spun my car, just getting onto the Mulsanne straight. If was fun while it lasted.

My force feedback died, I sneezed in the middle of a turn, excuses, excuses. ;)

I figured it was a matter of time before you passed me thru the corners. I didn't relax a little until the gap widened between us towards the end. Stupid AI almost took me out on the last sector of the last lap. :scared: I think it was Fezz's car.

:D Yeah, When I passed you the first time I apologize if I didn't give enough room, but I knew you would get it back But then the first chicane you stayed with braking with me, so I figured I would just have to hold out as long as you on the second one, I almost didn't believe that happened. :) Sucks about the FFB though, no wonder all of a sudden you went drift crazy.

I thought that was what happened to you, your car had the legs on me on the straights, even when slipstreaming I didn't go any faster as I was running low downforce :lol:
 
No probs Chris, that happens to me sometimes. I think it's a fanatic/forza4 thing. Just put a feeler time in a road atlanta os 1:16xxx I reckon I could do a 15 maybe 14

The slow corners, which was 2nd gear for me, I could never get a good rhythm, on until my last lap, which was when I got my fastest lap of the race. I did however, like the braking move you put on me, at the last chicane on the straight.
 
Yeah I didn't actually mean to outbreak you into there, but I was caught totally off guard when you braked, that's why I went a bit deep

I watched most of the first half. Wasn't the final score something like 52-0? The 'Noles look a lot better than they did at this time last year......glad they avenged that loss to Wake last season. 👍

I like Cat School too...I'm just not sure my M3 has the handling to compete there. :scared: I only use telemetry to check my tire temps/psi and camber. :o

I still have no idea how to tune tire pressure in Forza. I haven't got a clue what is desired and whether it depends on compound. :scared:

Same here :( I always just set mine slightly lower, I have no idea why though lol.

Darn you Forcone, I had gotten an a low .800 just bearly faster then your time but it was dirty :(

I've used to do that too. I've also used 2bar (warm tire) pressures, as I've figured a bit lower should give a bit more grip. Don't know whether it works or not, lately I've just used the stock pressures. Soft tires make my lazy handling Mustang even lazier-feeling :lol:
 
Just shared the Mustang if anyone wants to give it a go! 👍 Some slight understeer issues to be solved and tire pressures yet to be tuned properly. It's also pretty soft, but I don't mind... :)
