Just watched the race 2 start Jimmy. As said before the cars bunched too late. Nate had to close a pretty big gap and floored the pedal for a couple seconds, then hit the brakes to slow him behind Blitz. Tyrrell (who had also left a massive gap) obviously saw Nate accelerate and thought he was going to full pace. He then couldn't slow to the group's pace and flew into the back of Knight, leaving him almost stopped.

Close the gaps on the pace car start lads.
 
Grrr.. so we suffer because people don't know when to close in :(.. I saw the same happen behind me in race 1 aswell.. I kept getting bumped and nudged while i was trying to stay as close to Strawman as possible for the last chicane but I had to keep moving.

People need to learn to leave atleast a car length.. avoid heavy acceleration and brake lights, brake lights = a pile up lol.

Sean should slow the pack a good distance to allow a smooth follow up to the place where he will pull away.
 
I felt I left a suitable distance, I wasn't expecting everyone to slam the brakes on that much for the chicane when we were only doing 50/60mph...
However, point noted, I'll try and stay closer than that...
 
We shouldn't have to slow down, we should be at a good speed to make the corner long before we get there. Slowing as a bunch just doesn't work!
 
I'm not sure if you're blaming me or not, so I'l give my view on it.

Race 1 everyone slammed there brakes on entering the left hander and as a result I hit someone, syjones I think it was.

Race 2 I made sure to leave lots of room so it didn't happen again. This time everyone sped up through it so I had to close the gap quickly by accelerating hard. This time everyone slowed down to a standstill during the chicane and due to my frantic attempts to close the gap I rear ended KnightSpirit as he braked hard, very sorry for that Knight I don't know if you got damage of it but I did.

If not, I have one which I haven't touched, that should qualify for no tuning restriction

Test session tomorrow night? Would be good to have more track time put in this time on my part. Also a good way to relax after what will be a long day of video editing.
 
Yup, exactly the same but will be down to a slow pace earlier from now on.

And no moving off the grid lads!

Would love to but I'm out after work, will try and get on over the weekend tho as after Tuesdays issues I was v pissed off with GT! - Plus I'm now hooked on MS RC!
 
MS RC? I think maybe some peoples connections towards me isn't great! Doesn't help I'm on a provider that is small and local lol.

MotorStorm Radio Control PSN game, for those old enough it's like MicroMachines/Super Off Road from back in the day :D

It's people routers not ISPs, people who run BT/Virgin always seem to have issues because of the firewalls built in into the router, also some people I'm sure also run other devices on the wifi which also causes issues.

Would be interesting to see who actually has what and on what connection.

I run Sky on wifi with 100% signal strength, with no other devices.
 
MS RC reminds me alot of micro machines :)

I wont be around tonight drag racing is on so ima go and watch :)
 
I won't be on, my social begins on a Friday and ends on a Monday afternoon.

I run an Ethernet cable about 20 inches in length. I'll usually have the Macbook and the Iphone hooked up using the Wifi but i dont actually use them at the time
 
I run BT thru a netgear router but I hardwire the PS3 as I've never been able to make it work wirelessly.

Right wheels to the Kurb at most. (can be pushed on first lap/tight bunching)

This line is the furthest anyone should be going round here. This will be fairly strict.

Also: who has fast connection? Jimmy won't be there tonight and someone with a better download/upload than me would be good.
 
The whole grid was within 1.5 secs coming onto the final lap, a real shame about the lag bump though.
