Free PSP

yeah, I clicked one of the banner ads at the top of these forums. I followed the links well i never got my free PSP. Normally i ignore those survey free gift things but a new PSP is a damn good gift anyone do the same thing?

Because you're in the US. PSP's aren't out for Americans yet. Plus, those banners always have a catch. The PSP may be free, but you're still paying for something.

my problem was i couldn't figure out how to complete the surveys so i could "qualify" to get my free gift. I proably did about 10 and it said i just needed to complete 2 surveys.......i guess i got suckered. Well i guess i can look forward to getting a million spam emails and hopefully some people will call me at home when i'm eating dinner.

If they do happen to call or something does happen, mention the PSP gift. If they don't know anything about it, refuse any offers.

I still can't forget the time my Dad was playing the telemarketer game and after about 2 hours on the phone he popped the question, "So tell me, are you saying you're gonna put the gas through the water pipes?" Oh the Irish women went so crazy on the other end whilst on loudspeaker and everything. That's the last time they called our house.

After the way we treat Telemarketers we haven't had a call in well over a year, I think we're in a black book of some sort.

Yep, that's it. Just remember: if someone is going to give you something that you want, and for which they would have to pay, you will have to pay for it, in some way or another.

I forsee that the PSP will be the new iPod in terms of schemes and scams to take advantage of people who want one for nothing.
