Famine
It was designed to carry pallets of eggs over pitted, ploughed fields.

It worked.

Stupid? Nup. Execrably slow and liable to fall over in a mild side-wind from a farting cat, yes, but not stupid.

Ok I see. Looks really familiar to another old french car. Any specs?

Probably my favorite French car of all time would be the Citroen DS, there used to be one near my house when I was a kid I absolutely loved it it was like a space ship to me, an amazing design way ahead of its time 👍 . In fact I think those Citroens from the 60s to 70s were very cool totally quirky, thank god they have discovered there character again now, I love the new C4 has hints of the old DS about it and the quality is much improved too.
Having said that people say Citroens have poor build quality etc.. but my wife has had 2 now a C3 and now a C2 and both have not faltered despite my wifes err full on driving style :nervous: sure the interior materials are not quite up to the standards of other similar makes but they stay together ,handle well and are ow you say cool? Yes? :)

Not including the exotics I hope! :sly:
(Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini)

Specialist cars don't count! As far as I'm concerned this was the last non-German/Swedish/British European car on our market:

daan's 406 V6 Coupe was nice
What do you mean "was" nice? It still is... :D

I can never resist the opportunity to show a photo of it....

But I now don't think of it as being French. It was designed by Pininfarina in Italy. It was built by Pininfarina in Italy.

I don't know what is better/worse. French build quality or Italian build quality!!!
