Welcome to FURI RACING LEAGUES, also abbreviated as the FRL. Formed for Gran Turismo 6, the FRL was made up of racers who raced in a number of my series from 2011 onwards on Gran Turismo 5. FRL is the unique banner under which all events I run, or sanction, shall be referred to.

The FRL returns after a three year absence for PROJECT CARS 2 on PLAYSTATION 4.

This the central thread for FRL. Series-specific threads will be created as the series are held here in the forum. This central thread is for discussion not pertaining to an active series, such as idea's and discussion as well as hosting of random open lobbies etc.

The driver register is for all drivers in FRL. By signing up to a series they are automatically registered, however if you do want to register a # then feel free to leave a message. Car # is for purposes of Entry Lists, Points Tables etc, and does not affect your choice of options. Some drivers may have a number shared. Drivers are therefore allowed to reserve two numbers in case of this happening. However usually priority goes to a driver who:

1) Is a regular driver over a new / less experienced driver

2) Driver who signs up first.

The numbers #2 to #99 are available. Other numbers may be granted as a rare exception (for instance a number clash for #77 may lead to #777 being allowed). #1 is reserved for a series champion, however it is their choice if to use it or stick to normal number.

#1 - RESERVED (Series Champion)
#7 - Angel
#9 - Whitetail
#10 - AudiMan
#11 - Wardez
#18 - Knelly
#19 - Siggers
#26 - WanganGhost
#32 - RACECAR
#38 - Panoz
#43 - LancerEvo7 / RaceORama
#54 - Furinkazen
#56 - Carbonox
#69 - Akmuq
#72 - TDZDave
#77 - Spurgy
#80 - Nascarfan1400

Got a number of things lined up for FRL, hopefully a few spot events and mini series before christmas with the return of ToCA in January 2018 :D

Can confirm a first event in the books for 14th or 15th October :) , a MULTI-RACE programme!

I'll reserve #32. Hope to get the game before hand.

Where can I get info on this League and it's series?

This thread here, this is the main thread (which if there was such a thing would be in a Clubs & Leagues section here). This thread will be main news hub for events and teasers with individual series getting their own threads for when they are launched :)

Previously we've run ToCA (Touring Cars) - a 14th season will be January '18, and varying other series on GT5 and GT6 from GTE series to historic sportscars and oval racing.

This thread does need a few updates however such as timezones - we normally run 7pm-11pm GMT / BST either friday saturday sunday. :)

I probably shouldn't join then. It's 1pm-4pm for me and I work at 4 those days. Also connecting from UK to US probably won't be good for lag

Introducing.... SHOWPIECE EVENTS!

Many major series have an event that everyone aspires to win, the crown jewel of that respective series. These are being officially recognised within FRL with the moniker of "SHOWPIECE EVENTS". These will be within a series thread denoted in race previews by Gold text, and winners will recieve recognition in the FRL Hall Of Fame here.

The first reveal is the main race of the first FRL PCARS2 series, i'm going to leave you guessing as to what the series is a bit longer but this will be the big one for it... Using the "Sakitto" semi-fictional Suzuka.

Looks great!!

Can i reserve my previous #19 please?
Although I won't be back in the UK until the end of November as I am still working in Europe, but will definitely try and participate on my return

Welcome back and no worries.

Anyway it's time for a reveal of the first series, a high speed battle between 3 of the highest tech machines of their era.

Five races in all, roughly 45 minutes to an hour each at 150 kilometres, with a showpiece endurance the SUZUKA 300km.
