Note to self - Always test all cars before choosing a car. I could have had a Honda if I actually bothered.

🤬 I'll talk to Stewards RE Honda.

It'll be the same for all FF cars, not just the Honda. It's something you can't control.. when I tested my BTCC cars out I ran all the FF cars with the ballast down the back because I realised that's what people were pretty likely to do. It made a 0.3-1 second a lap difference in performance usually, depending on the course.

I'm intending on staying with Ford. Get this car working.

My Hyundai actually got faster at some tracks because of the increased weight after it got nurfed. Some tracks it's 0.4 slower.

I'm committed to the Ford for this year. If I can win in it, it can't be that bad.

I actually speccing has gone pretty well considering this season has been first with a new formula.

True that, it took four seasons for me to get it roughly right on the last game! Adding new cars in and dropping cars always muddies the waters, as does changing the calendar. Ideally we'd always run the same cars on the same tracks every time, and then we'd get a level playing field eventually, but that's dull :sly:

Put the blame on this. ^

Has offline got quicker? Low 48's in Focus now  (Brands Indy)

Online/offline has been funny buggers since the game was released. The limits as to what can be done seem to change endlessly.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea starting a series before they fixed all the bugs with this game...

Would have been a long wait!

~Cough~ WSC :grumpy:

Just retesting and giving cars a quick shakedown around Brands Indy initially. Civic 1 tenth quicker than Focus but I can tell Civic is so much more manoeuvrable, yet is slower on straighaway If not this season, for next the Civic will probably lose weight reduction but be a little more powerful to compensate.

Considering a Ford is leading the championship I think we should calm down a little bit. We all know the Honda needs a nerf, but not a nerf which ends their championship charge.

Sorry for double post, but yeah THIS^^

Tech Update:

HONDA - +10kg ballast. This ballast may not be moved however. New car weight is 1150kg, this can be regulated in lobby settings as Honda is lightest car. (@DK, @rustyMercedes @raceorama123432 @snowgt @Yeratel84)

NISSAN - +10hp. Now 367hp. (@ABP @gokartman @Carbonox )

RANGE ROVER - +10hp. Now 374hp. (@Holdenhsvgtsr @Tom )

Also BMW removed and to compensate 5 of each car allowed. Updating OP now.

Both Range Rover and Honda were capable of mid 1:07s at Silverstone International, as were the Focus and RCZ. It seems like these spec changes are a reaction to people moaning about the Civic being too fast. It's like people are surprised when two of the fastest drivers in the series are suddenly leading the championship and winning most of the races.

It's always been quicker....about a second difference normally

Yup, no fuel/tyre wear offline. So you're modeled as having an empty tank.

I've been helped by Snow missing Spa and Yera missing race 6. Snow would still leading the championship and Yera would only be a couple of points off of me.

But Ford has been on pace with right drivers. Honda's same but shown that tiny extra bit. I can see where it comes from.

The Ford is just right for me. It has strengths, it has weaknesses. The Civic doesn't seem to have that many weaknesses.
