Mine's already at +1100 miles, but after a sole chassis refresh before Ascari I see no need to build another car...

I never did anything to my BMW, and that did fine...
Didn't notice any difference after that said chassis refresh either...

Normally I'd use same car for the whole run. I'm intending on staying Ford for at least 3 seasons including this one, so I'd use same chassis.

I don't think the chassis refresh works in the same way as actually having a fresh chassis.

Notice license points added on overall table.

Well i'm currently discussing this theory: (Quote from PM)

PD as we know had the wheel rim glitch about cars with changed wheel sizes. Now that was fixed but we don't know how it impacted cars built pre patch before the fix do we?

Now who's on top of the standings now or been very quick lately? @LancerEvo7 / @DrifterJoe / @Scaniabebe . They all built cars very close to season start.

Who's been / was struggling? Me / @Carbonox (in Renault) / @gtpanoz / @rolo912011. We all built cars a long time before season start.

That and I did a some offline Spa running this morning. Old RPM Focus 2:29.8 with 29.5 possible . New Focus built today 2:29.3 with easy 28's possible....

@Yeratel84 then correctly points out the actual bug affected RWD's only, but that was exclusively rim size. @LancerEvo7 has also said the Fords seemed different at Ascari. But how can it explain a 0.6 second deficit.?
I got my Focus on christmas eve, 3 weeks and 4 days before the first race. It's coming up to having 2000 miles on it. I do an oil change and chassis refresh every week.

Tech Update:

HONDA - +10kg ballast. This ballast may not be moved however. New car weight is 1150kg, this can be regulated in lobby settings as Honda is lightest car. (@DK, @rustyMercedes @raceorama123432 @snowgt @Yeratel84)

NISSAN - +10hp. Now 367hp. (@ABP @gokartman @Carbonox )

RANGE ROVER - +10hp. Now 374hp. (@Holdenhsvgtsr @Tom )

Also BMW removed and to compensate 5 of each car allowed. Updating OP now.

Depending on where it's placed, FF weight will increase performance. I wonder what car'll win now.

Of course the weight limits are minimum, so there's always the chance people can add ballast and speed up their cars whilst still being inside the rules.

It harms you on straight-line speed of course, but on handling courses it's a real bonus. 100kg of ballast even can do no harm to cornering performance, if it changes a 62:48 distribution to a 55:45 (per se).

You could take away the weight reduction too or just add ballast to the front. I havent driven the Honda yet so I can't judge.

And with this, ToCA descends into a pit of hell, from which it'll never fully recover.

Always know that 👎

If ballast is shifted to the front it will make handling a bit worse no, more weight at front?

Ballast towards front = more traction. Slight increase in lift off oversteer, helpful for tight tracks.

Of course, it's always bad to have weight over the front wheels - causes heaps of understeer. Thing is, you can't police where people put the ballast, so people are just gonna put it down the back if it helps.

Was just about to mention that then I noticed your post.

Also more weight at the rear actually increases traction but damages rear tyres more as far as I know.
