Last time I checked OP there where 3 spots available, welcome :)

Available cars by the way (goes for @chrisjohnson93 and @sparkytooth as well)

2x BMW
1x Hyundai
3x Peugeot
1x Range Rover
4x Nissan.
OK I will, also I would like to know the criteria regarding cars. (What type, PI etc...)

See OP for car specifications. Some may require Power Limiter to get to required amount of HP.

Thanks raceorama but actually I took part in these a long time ago before I was even on GTPlanet, I met Furinkazen in a public GT5 lobby and then he invited me to do a TOCA championship. I can't remember all the details but all I remember was driving a Mazda 5 Touring car at Cape Ring Inside.
Ah, I see. I started season 5 and have raced at least once in each season since then. Welcome back then ;)

OK now I've decided on the Genesis so I'll get to work making it to the right specification. Sadly I don't think I'm gonna stand much of a chance here but i'll try anyway by using the Genesis because its a bit different.

Just log those laps in. Brands i've done a 150+ laps of testing and another night me and @DrifterJoe covered around 100 laps between us. It's only way to get quicker and improve :)

At the time I didn't know that it was a proper race series as I was not on GTPlanet and was just invited to race in it by Furinkazen in an attempt to bolster the grid. I've only taken part in the first race at Cape ring and none since then.

Yeah, been around 80+ drivers since then ;)

In the thread title what do you mean by the testing tonight?

I'll be hosting a test tonight.

Well I'd better be quick to get some laps around Brands then ;)
That's the point of the test. To see your pace against the people you'll be racing against before the actual race. I'm sure everyone will give you tips as we'd all rather have close racing and be mid pack than run away at front on our own.

I hate to think of how many laps I've driven around Brands, I could probably do it with my eyes closed now

Cool, can't wait. OK now I'm off to build the car and do some testing as well. Also Furinkazen I'll send you a friend request.

Not necessarily.

If you're doing a corner all wrong, you can practise it with 100 laps plus, but you'll still be doing it wrong.

Once you've reached your limit practising will only make you more consistent. The best way to improve is to watch other people, study their lines and see where you could gain time. Then practise.

I've only logged about 15 laps in my Focus. I think Ascari and Brands will be two strong tracks of mine.

Handling tracks will be mine due to the Range Rover being ludicrously slow in a straight line.
/But 4WD.
To be fair, the Ford isn't the greatest at putting power down through Clearways.
On another note, my wheels are now green.

I always run well at faster tracks and Spa especially.

Room open... with a difference... Testing something tonight.

Is I along the right lines?...

This is going to be a vintage season. Fantastic turnout, fantastic racing once we all got up to speed.
