I think the main aspect of FF racing i've learnt so far is lift off oversteer. I used it a lot last night and it got me a win.

I cannot be bothered with BB at all, racing brakes are the devil and should burn on a big bonfire.

Brake Balance does help the Renault a bit to be fair; I've got it set up so it'll help with initial turn in - so instead of full brakes all the time; it's now set up so the car will get a little out of shape on the rear end before turn in..
 
It's damage limitation with the Ford. It makes it so inconsistent under braking.
 
Also it makes the cars a bit harder to drive. More challenge.
 
Yes, it does make the cars a little harder to drive. At Brands when it was a slightly wet track - coming into Paddock Hill Bend meant I had to really be careful on the brakes as even on the amount of pressure I applied - the rear still went very light.

In a way though, that really helped for the first corner..
 
I have 2 settings for BB. 2-8 and 2-3. I switch between them depending on the track.

Same with the Clios.
 
Racing brakes simply make the pedal "harder" as in a real race car. However, with the mushy offerings that most wheel manufacturers provide us with, it just means people run lower BB to compensate (especially with no ABS).

Today you showed more than once that you still haven't reached anywhere near the full potential of your car... so instead of just complaining about other people's cars and/or race pace, you should first practice with whichever car you picked (I enphasize 'picked' because you also posted something suggesting you were kinda forced into driving it)...

I don't know how to tune :ouch: so I'll have to look around, but there weren't many options other than the pug because I was late in joining. Also I don't understand the car very well so (And I have practiced a lot)
 
Do you think the Hyundai is faster than the Pug? You chose the Hyundai at first, then changed to the Pug.
 
I get that but actually it's stock apart from the weight loss and the exhaust, apart from that it's a RWD road car.

And the racing tires, but I really struggle with RWD cars that are made for the circuit, but don't have any downforce.
