Penalties (License Pts) (And deliberate humour attempts to brighten the mood)

@Roflwaffle +2Pts. Just because a Hyundai is easy to spin doesn't mean you can make it spin. French brakes appeared dodgy tonight, new oil please for Willow!

@Holdenhsvgtsr +2pts. Yep, we know you're in a hurry to pick up the kids judging from your starts in R2 and R3. However diving in at hairpins might knock other parents off the road, watch the hairpins and cars and the track limits!

@chrisjohnson93 +1pt. When others are doing Q1 don't enter until I send PSN message. And re oil the brakes on the Pug, seemed a bit dodgy in Race 1.

@raceorama123432 +1pt. Again Q1. Don't enter lobby before prompt please. And the excuse of VTEC kicking in doesn't count.

@gokartman78 +1pt. Rule #1 of Online Racing. Don't lag. Rule #1 of real racing. Don't take out your team mate. Cocktail of both = A definite facepalm and license point.

@Ninners +1pt. Entering during Q1 before prompt won't get you up the grid. A good RWD start will.

@snowgt +3pts. You're an ex-steward, one of the fastest in the championship and yet you feel need to to try and wreck someone due to them sliding into you in an overtake? Snow, not like you to do this, and I could make some kind of Austrian related joke about it, but I'd have to shout Lauda....

Seriously guys. Take heed of what I say. Too much of tonight was avoidable. This has been a great season so far and I thought we'd left these days behind.

Sorry Furi. The thing is when you see the room with 14 people with regulars in there it always makes me join since they are in there.:banghead:

Looks like we clearly haven't!
The funniest thing of this, is I am yet to get battered like a fish!

No worries, don't worry i'll always PSN you :)

The scale of that statement...

In all fairness, I've surprised myself this Season.. And the Renault has done well saying they've never actually took part in TOCA before..

And it's up against Ford and Honda which have been around since whenever it was! :p

Until you lose places at T1 leaving you where you started :( while you see other cars fly through the pack(like me in Clio Cup yesterday).

My starts are bugged. Every time I accelerate game freezes a moment and I lag back 👎

Loads of 3 wide action tonight

Here's a small lesson in racing logic, because a few of you certainly need it.

We'll make up a turn for this exercise in thought. Note its similarity to turn 1 at the 'Ring.

Now, the racing line for this turn is pretty simple: brake on the outside, turn in, clip the apex, power out. However, being the first turn of the track, there is extra room to the inside. The red car will show us the racing line.

Now the red car goes to do this in the race. However, there is a very impatient driver in the blue car behind him. The blue driver decides that it would be a good idea to force a move up the inside. Because the red car turns in to the apex, the cars make contact.

If the blue driver were more patient, they would realize that it is best to follow the red car's line, and perhaps try to gain an advantage exiting in order to minimize the time lost for both drivers in the pass attempt.

I feel like this was one of the biggest problems today. If someone tries to take the racing line, they have one or more cars decide it's time to make a move. This just ends up costing everyone time, making a frustrating race for all parties involved. Be patient and take time to set up moves. If you want people to race you cleanly, race them cleanly. It's the golden rule.

@LancerEvo7 the log jam. 1 goes to the inside, everyone does. So then everyone clogs up inside and its bang bang bang and people are off.

So a car that has an advantage under brakes but is down on power how will they over take then?

Point is take a line that won't have around 6 drivers all tripping up. It's placing yourself in the right place.

I assume that this series is completely full, but if there are any spots left I will gladly take them and join this series. Now
that Hognhogimy's series has been erased from existence, I have no races to run besides WSC VII which is coming up.
That said, I would like to be more involved in the FRL, not just race in the WSC. And after reading many past threads
of WSC's of old, I can say you really know what a Racing Series should be, as well as a Racing League. You seem to be a very good steward, Furi. Please tell me if there is any room in ToCa10.

Hey Ryan, always room in ToCA10. Grab a car, turn up, and try and qualify :)

A few Racing Series have used teams. I know you probably are using them, and I was wondering what the regulations
were, such as the number of drivers and how many there are, but really what I'm asking is if I must join a team
or make one and have some drivers join it. Also, how many teams are there at the moment?

You can go independent, or form a 2 driver team if you can find someone willing. Teams must have same car, paint, rims, but rim colour can differ. We've got complete teams from RPM-Ford, RPM Vulpus-Ford, Humberside-Renault, THAR-Hyundai, DBC-Nissan, SYM-Honda.

So do any of the teams have any openings at the moment? Any drivers who are independent?
