A polygon is a many sided shape. You could have one large polygon, that had the outline of two smaller polygons (so the same shape), and it wouldn't have the line that connected the other 2 polygons. If you imagine that gap is kind of like the gap between the top of the boot and the roof on a car, that gap creates drag. My car being one big polygon has less of those, and less dragLess polygons = larger polygons = less aerodynamic![]()
Saying that, given that PD missed a few issue's that are more important than whether a standard car has more or less drag than a more pixelated car, I think we safely say they didn't implement it
