Can we change it to a drift trail this weekend then cause the Alfa will be sideways.

Isn't that a good thing in an FF? I would be more concerned about understeer :p

It snaps oversteer which is the issue, you hit the brakes and the back seems to snatch putting it into a slide which over loads the loaded front tyre which cause it to then understeer rather than remain neutral.

Maybe have less rear BB?

34.0 here. Not much more in it for me though, I think. Maybe 1 or 2 tenths on a perfect lap. I think some FF's might be faster at least on a single lap. I'm hoping they'll have to fight tyre degradation though. There's a couple of nasty front tyre burners on this track, if you don't get the car to rotate.

I couldn't beat a 35.2 in the Ford. I was faster than it in the old spec Mazda by a tenth.

Don't know what car you've been driving, but I can't get the Alfa to oversteer even a little bit :p Granted I have done any tuning so that could be why.

Just did some testing a few different cars around Nurb, all the times were done without any tuning;

Car: Actual (Theoretical best, blah blah blah)

Renault: 1:33.9 (1:33.8)

Alfa: 1.34.1 (1.34.0)

Toybota: 1.34.1 (1.34.0, although was 0.021 up on a 33.6 going into S3, but the Toybota hates the chicanes)

Focus: 1.34.2 (1.34.0? Could be faster but it's hard to be consistent I found)

That's pretty consistent.

It's o.3 of a seconds, draft should make up for that ;)

In theory. In practice the Renault will blast away on the straight, the Ford will catch up but have to weigh the options of staying in their position or passing using questionable means and having to listen to Scania complain about it post-race.

This.

Passing the Renault is impossible(in other words, Andil) so we have to get a bit rough to maintain position. Not only that but reverse grid races play to Renault's strong point like starts and acceleration meaning it can clear cars much better with a good driver.

Only hope I have is me doing 1 race than Andil (BHGP Race 1) which could bridge the points advantage he will have after tomorrow.

Drove a few cars in the same lobby as Spurgy, so I know what to expect in terms of lap time from us Renos and some of the other cars. Will be very surprised if Fords can get within 0.2 of a Renault time honestly.

It's a Renault track for sure this time, with all the big acceleration areas (I count at least 5) it all adds up to our advantage. I had to deal with the Ford being 0.7 quicker than me in quali at Spa, so now it's your turn ;) :P
