To be fair, I'm looking forward to Willow... You just have to be consistent there and because the Renault is good in a straight line - we should be competitive even though it's not our style of track :P

The only bit the Honda does well, is the small T3,4,5 complex.

The Ford likes the high speed corners and isn't bad in the slow corners either.

Just checked T10 specs, Civic has same weight and power, but is 4PP worse now?

Compared to the second part of T10, the Civic has 10kg less, and it was competitive then. It also was slow in a straight line last year, which is troublesome on the stop and go tracks, if you're in traffic, but it's very good for an FF also in the long fast corners, so it should be fine on Willow, because it doesn't smoke its tyres as much as other FF's.

The Ford is fast but burns tyres pretty well.

Yeah well got kind of more important things than a joky dictionary to deal with. Priorities.

I'm pulling out furi, lag ruined mine and a few others races yesterday and I don't want to ruin people's races. Sorry to all those it has affected.

When I turned you around your car was violently shuddering. Sorry to hear Sam but sadly :indiff:

To be honest last night seemed to be the worst your lag isn't normally that bad and as others have said yera had some when he doesn't normally.

Stay for willow as it might have just been silverstone and try a couple of things like hardwiring before giving up on it. :)

I had a very scary moment when Furi avoided GKM's car. Had to dive straight off to the left, through the grass.

@gokartman78 Maybe come back for the second half of the season, GT5 servers close down in two weeks. And seeing as ToCA isn't racing next weekend, they should be down by Willow?

@Holdenhsvgtsr Out of interest, what Capture Card do you use for your video footage?

Furi, you should add AMD's vids to the OP.

Man you must be the unluckiest lad i know when it comes to lag issues, you on an island or something.:indiff:

Oh well, nothing I can do about it :p. It wasn't as bad on GT5, but both GT games are a dream compared to fifa. I remember being happy to stay connected for the whole of the 1st half, lasting the whole game was a miracle

Next weekend you get to look at the first of the fastest generation of ToCA vehicles.. ever. ;)

Is it a 2cv? I've heard they are faster than a ferrari.

Non road cars? Oh are we actually racing next weekend or is it tight?

If we can race next weekend I can make it :)

guys, check the schedule on OP... next race in two weeks time

Just took a look at the tables, and I find it quite positive how close everything seems to be together. 6 different makes in the top 8, first 6 drivers inside of 1 race's points ... also looks good from a BoP-point of view. Some cars better at top speed (Renault, Alfa, Mazda, Lexus), others better through corners (Honda, Nissan) with the Ford probably being the car with no obvious weaknesses (it's probably best suited for tracks where it can use its torque, Nürburgring GP/D, etc.)... this is certainly one of the best BoP's I have witnessed in TOCA since I joined.

To be fair, I think the cars that could be subject to a mid-season change in my opinion, are the Mazda and the Toyota. The Mazda is ultra-fast on the straights (it pulled away easily on the straights although I was in its slipstream), but it has really bad cornering, so a shift towards usability combined with a power-cut might be reasonable.
The Toyota I was never able to figure out. It's not powerful and it doesn't instil confidence in its driver, because it constantly feels like it could bite you once you lose concentration for a second, but apparently some people are able to wring some performance out of it. And I wouldn't want to pass judgement on a car I apparently can't figure out. :p

Speaking of points, can I have my point for pole position please Furi? xx
