I just made a rather perculiar noise when i saw that
kinda like
oooooaaaaaaaaaooohh

I don't i'm afraid. But i know that there is currently a Dauer 962 for sale. It's the only LHD one made, the others (5 of 6) all being RHD and made for the Sultan of Brunei. I can't recall where i saw it for sale though...

Last I remember, it was on ClassicDriver. However, Dauer itself, is no longer listed, so it may be gone. Searching for 962 on the site also only brings up 3 race cars; 1 of which is in Smallhorses' link.

http://www.fantasyjunction.com/

This place is about 10 minutes walk from my house.

Take your pick.
There's a couple of $1,250,000 Ferrari 275GTBs in there at the moment, an F40, a Lamborghini Miura, a Lamborghini Countach, not to mention a 1937 Bugatti Race car, a 1966 Shelby GT350 Mustang and 1 of only 4 Monteverdi Hai cars ever built. (Yours for $1,100,000 if you're short of things to add to your Christmas list!!!)

Had my company stocks not suddenly halved in value over the past couple of months, :( I would seriously be considering picking up the burgundy 308GTS that's in there.

Their list of "Cars We Sold" is like car pornography.

You sir just made my day, so much awesomeness on that site I don't even know where to begin. All I know is that if I had $25,000 extra laying around this would be mine in a heart beat.

http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/605-Alfa Romeo-Giulia Super-1600 cc DOHC 4-Cyl

I have always love the Giulia, it's what comes to mind when I think of a great little 70's European saloon. Those yellow lights just make it all that much cooler. I can totally see myself ripping through the country side in it in.

I don't know how much of a fan I am of the eggplant colour but I think I could live with it.

On the front page, why is there a headless armadillo-dog being run over by that blue car? (Aston Martin?)

I was going to tell you to back slowly away from the mushrooms Sage, but having reloaded the home page a few times (the picture varies!) I now see what you mean!!

I guess if you can afford $1,350,000 for a Talbot Lago Race Car, you can run over whatever you like!

Just watching Barret Jackson and some of the cars that roll across the auction line make me drool and wish , but the prices they get for some of this stuff is absurd.

Here it is along with a not quite as rare CLK-GTR. Nice bare CF finish 👍 - doesn't give a price though.

I just found a huge site that can locate for sale pretty much any car in the world. A few amazing gems I found today:

1991 Honda NSX
1644960_2.jpg

¥3,800,000

2005 Honda NSX - NA2's don't really exist, yet somehow this site has more than 10 for sale, including this final run example.

1098326_2.jpg

¥8,410,000

2008 Honda Civic Type-R Mugen RR
1061355_2.jpg

¥4,788,000-¥5,600,000

The Talbot Sunbeam Lotus was one of the OG hot hatches, starting up a line of memorable Lotus-tuned street cars, as well as winning a manufacturer's title in the WRC. Such a pristine one in the US is a rarity. I think that although it does carry some namesake and history, I'd consider it one of those classic cars expendable enough to beat the living crap out of if I owned one.

I did find a imaculate Datsun 240K (as known in Australia, C110 Skyline in Japan) with 20,000 original km's (12.5k miles) not far from my house, fairly cheap too, I would buy it if it was a coupe.

I can't find it anymore though :(

Not sure if Aston DB2s are rare, but I see one every day at the dealers near my school. Are they rare? Here's the link to the site, you'll have to search the site yourself to find the cars.

3rd maybe? ;)

I just clicked on the link:
Chrysler Sunbeam? Does Talbot Sunbeam = Dodge Omni?

Not quite. The Omni was a rebadge of the Sunbeam's sort of replacement the 'Talbot Horizon'. It was front wheel drive rather than RWD like the Sunbeam. It obviously didn't have the Esprit engine either.

indeed. and those rims... but, with some resourcefulness and comparing prices would probably get you a classic that will only get more valuable if you do things right.
