^ If ever I had the money, this would be an instant sale for me! I love silver on any car! :(

~> Please Lord!
Nearly $50,000 for a mint example, but still a 80,000 mile car. Not as bad as the <15,000 mile $100,000 example that was sold in Chicago, but still a direct result of the people in the used market driving up the prices for no reason.

Well this is rare, for starters. But is it good? That happens to be a bit more debatable...

It's a stretched out, limo'd Chrysler/Plymouth Prowler, with Lamborghini scissor doors. I told you it's rare...

And price is POA, so feel free to ask... if you can stop either laughing or just plain vomiting at the though. :sly:
If it wasn't located in Japan, I might actually inquire about prices. I would rock it

Whole heap of rare cars sold at the Silverstone auction last night... and more insane prices paid for aircooled 911's as a collector liquidised some of his cars.

993 RS CS est £220-260 - Sold for £403k
993 GT2 est £750-850 - Sold for £1.85m
993 Turbo S est £200-240 - Sold for £320k

964 RS 3.8 est £400-500 - Sold for £717k
964 Turbo S est £210-250 - Sold for £974k

(prices include buyers premium)

The 993GT2 is probably the best example in existence, being one owner from new, completely original, just 12k km in Riviera (edit!). But still, £1.85 million FFS. Crazy.

Rumor is the same buyer bought a number of the cars.

Really hope these cars won't be stuck in a garage or even see the light of day.

Prices on the high end 911s have gotten insane over the past years, especially the air-cooled cars. I was shocked to see the GT2 sell for that price, but then again look at it, you can't get much better than a Riviera Blue 993 GT2.

They totally will be stuck in a garage somewhere to be sold again later on. Seems that air-cooled 911s are bought as investments these days. A car as rare as the GT2 won't be driven a whole lot.
