Drive the living hell out of my Trueno on El Capitan untill I find flaws in my suspension tuning ( too loose, too much understeer, etc) .Then I pull into the pits and retune it to my likings, then I repeat the steps exept I drive harder and harder each time trying to achieve automotive nirvana and get a kickass laptime. 👍 I also sometimes just glaze at its glory in the garage and wished I really owned one... maybe one day. :(

Using Group C and LMP cars to beat the F1's in certain Formula 1 races.:) The most fun I've had in a long time: the Jaguar XJR-9 at the High Speed Ring 77 lap Formula 1 race for 121 points.👍

I take small cars and try to beat the biges cars i can find(like 700HP LM cars with the GSX-R/4),and i look at the forums for some fun races to do.

Kill cones.
I am the original "Cone Killer". On a track like Infinion Raceway with a lot of cones, on my last lap the cones are all scattered about like plastic little green army men in a sandbox after a round with a BB gun.

I tried to keep it entertaining by doing some race, challages, tuning settings that people in this forum suggested but, that didn't help.

Pffft. I was playing cone hockey back when Merlin was a lad... :D

Rome 2hr Endurance and the Super Speedway 150 - every last cone was in the pit lane entrance before time was called.

Wow, you must be really bored!! Unless, and forgive me if I'm mistaken, that falls under the catergory of "No Life":D

No, Famine - I'm sure the world's a better place because YOU [and only you] have offered SO MUCH for the better of today's society. I mean, NO ONE has ever thought of knocking down all the cones on Super Speedway until every single one was in the pit lane.

Seriously Famine, that's entertaining? LOL. I'm kidding.:D

More entertaining than doing the Super Speedway 150, that's for sure.

Tuning the cars to see which are faster. I make rival pairs. Cars made to compete with each other in real life. Try to see which is faster, which has more acceleration, which can handle better, which stops faster, etc..

agreed.

I drift a sports-mod 240SX on Hong-Kong. I do some photo-shoots too. And try mission 34 :scared:

Going back to the special conditions hall at Costa d'Amalfi. Try to drift every hairpin, and handbrake turn the final 2 hard 180° things.

Sounds like alot of fun, but in which car?

Similar to what STL mentioned, when I get bored I like to try doing an entire race (road and offroad) using only the handbrake and never touch the brake pedal. It is much harder than it seems, especially with harder tires and 'lose' cars. It can be fairly easy to due a 360 (or worse, a 180) if you are in such a car coming off a high speed straight and braking for the approaching corner, but entertaing all the same! :)

1) Racing on Le Sarthe, and Nurburgring
2) The DFP
3) Time Trials
4) Driving the 787B, Bentley Speed 8, R92CP
5) Photo Mode

Awesome 👍. Need to do this too .

Doing it in Speed 12 or under 10 hp car must be challenging too :D.

And then PD thinks it is a good idea and puts "knock over the cones" in the Coffee breaks.

We can all thank Famine for that.👍

Well I do what I also did in GT2 , call a friend and race multiplayer in a kind of different way ..

We both choose a car , but the it's usually a black one with black rims(so you can hide 'em nicely) or a fast rallycar, then we take them to a nice little course with a lot of bends and hairpins and stuff and play hide and seek .. (try finding your mate when he's in hood-view and parked against some wall , it's not easy ..)

RULES
=====
- When you see the other car you just have to hit him so he's "it" ..
- You can off course run away when you're found, from that moment on it's just a matter of skills
- You can drive in any direction , just be careful not to end the race , you can avoid that by setting the nr of laps a bit up
- Anyone who gets tagged 10 times first is the loser
- If the person that's being chased can't get hit in 3 minutes , he's the winner
- The cars have to a bit equal (unless you or your friend sucks at the game)
- You have to be in hood-view or the street-view , not chase (that's too easy to spot)

What I also once did was : train my girlfriend at Tsukuba with a Subaru Impreza till she could make some nice lap times and then invite my friends over and bet them some beers that my girl could kick their butts ... Now that was one hell of an evening 👍

Great idea TB! Although I must say, what would make a truly "heaven of an evening" is to play that game with your GF, but with one additional rule. Everytime someone gets hit they have to lose an article of clothing. ;)

Seriously though, I like the game you came up with. 👍

I've played "derby" GT before, where in two player mode each driver uses the exact same car and set-up. Then one starts at the midpoint of the course, the other at the SFL. From here the object is to hit the opponents car with the nose of yours. Everytime you do you get a point. If its a head-on, then both score a point. These games get pretty crazy, and are very entertaining as well. :D

I can't apologise enough for that...

This amused me last night: I put those plain black steelies from the '70 Nissan Skyline on an old Mercury Cougar, making it look like a tenement block refugee. I then took it to Seattle and drove it like I stole it! :dopey:

Well it made me laugh.

I guess you had to be there...

I took a white 83' Civic, put those steelies on it, the biggest wing I could find, a nitrous bottle, Super Soft tires, and the biggest turbocharger available... And I drove like a Ricer for about three hours on several tracks. Quite fun and funny! 👍

going to try rite now!!!!!:sly: :sly: :) :) :dopey: :dopey: 👍 💡

Just for kicks I drove the pace car for some practice laps around the tracks used for the license tests, B5 at Tsukuba, IA15 at Nurburgring, etc. Originally I wanted to see if I could beat the gold times but it turned out to be no challenge at all; a VERY sloppy 8'30 or so at the 'ring but well under the gold time of 9'02, for example. Still, it was something different to do.

Still trying to get some mileage on all the cars, I have 720+ cars but I've only driven about 200 of them.

I've been doing the WRS too. 👍

I'm starting the idea above, thank you SuperT.

A shedload of great ideas for the 2Player modes...👍

Usually a mate and I choose two similar cars, go to the Un-Chicaned version of LaSarthe, and start at the very top of the Hounduras Straight, drag race the entire length (And you have to stay in-lane) take the right, continue finally to Arnage. Actually pretty good stuff, suprisingly enough. :D
