YOU'RE ALL WRONG

THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER WAS TITANIC, MOSTLY DUE TO THE GUY FALLING DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE BOAT WHEN IT WHEN VERTICAL IN THE WATER AND THEN HE HIT THE PROPELLER, THEY ACTUALLY HAD A BIG " TING " WHEN HE SMOKED IT...THATS KILLS ME EVERY FREAKIN TIME ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Oh yeah, and "City Slickers" when that dude says to Billy Crystal, " you want to wear her A$$ as a Hat." thatsa funny !

I found this while I was searching for another thread.

My current favorite is "Super Troopers". I thought it was the dumbest movie I ever saw, when I saw it in the theater. I ended up getting it on DVD, when I saw a used copy. It's been one of my favorite, since. "Liter of cola", "He can't pull over any farther", "what's that meow?", "littering, aaaaand, littering, aaaaand...". Just endless funny scenes and quotes.

P.S. If anyone know about the thread on TV Series on DVD, please PM me. I can't find it. :D

some of my fraves include "Napolian Dynamite", "Galaxy Quest", "Old School", "Human Traffic" & "24 hour Pary People". Very funny films IMO.

"give him A big hand, He's British" :D -Galaxy Quest

I forgot all about Galaxy Quest. It was a surprisingly good movie. First movie I saw Alan Rickman in. Great actor.

Geez, old thread.

I still love Blazing Saddles, M.A.S.H., It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and the others I mentioned.

The best films are the ones that still make you laugh even though you've watched them dozens and dozens of times. For me that's Blazing Saddles - quotes, Python's Holy Grail - quotes, Airplane - quotes and my favourite This is Spinal Tap - quotes.

Most deffinatley agreed, it's like Police Acadamy (the first one was good come to think of it...) But just a hell of alot funnier.

Scary Movie 1--4
'You have broken the spell. You love me. Now I wont kill you all'
'Really?'
'No. Im just screwing with you.'

Kung Pow - Funniest movie ever (especially under the influence  )

and the latest one i've seen is Grandma's Boy. I haven't laughed that hard since the first time I saw Kung Pow after a session. ๐Ÿ‘

Totally forgot about "Holy grail" (even though I own it) its very good so are all of the Monty Python stuff. Im also a big Adam Sandler fan, his best being "Happy Gilmor" for me. Also another of my frav comedy's is "Space Balls" and I like "Wayne's World 1 & 2"

This is a hard one. I dont think i can name the funniest film ever. But heres a top few:
Nothing to lose
South park movie
Ice Age
Dog Soldiers
Snatch
Shrek
(mainly due to the blue flower, red thorns line, i cried with laughter at that).

I know 2 of them arent actually comedies, but they are so funny!

Oh and how about House of the dead, thats just hilarious!!

If your looking for something funny but not a true comedy, try "Bubba Ho-Tep" thats is one funny film, and the "Evil Dead" films too. I also love "Shrek" very whity in parts.

But only to a select group of Bruce Campbell fans. There's no way Bubba can hold a torch to any of the three Evil Dead films. It has its funny parts, but it's boring even for a horror movie. When I saw what Famine posted, I nearly laughed myself to death.

Adam Sandler movies arent the funniest but they do have some good quotes.

"to-to-TODAY JUNIOR!"

Same with Napolean Dynomite. The movie, not so much. But it seems funnier to quote it.

"you have skills? chicks like guys with skills." It's actually funnier doing the voice.

I just cant go through all the movies ive seen and try to pick the funniest.

High Fidelity and Shaun of the Dead are probably my favorite comedies - both were riots. Anchorman was gets better and better with every viewing, too.

I agree that Dumb and Dumber is underrated. And what about Team America?

I think my bolding is getting a little out of hand.

I'm sorry but any film that has Adam Sandler in it can't possibly be considered a 'comedy' - the definition of comedy is something that makes you laugh.

The first Scary Movie film had me in stitches. It's immature and crude but it works for me. I also like the Austin Powers movies.

Anderton Prime

Im sorry Anderon, but you are way off base with that comment. This film is one of the best films for comedy horror fans even if you hate the almighty Bruce (which is impossible). Its has some of the funniest senes from any film ive seen for a long while, (Fighting the scarab beetle)

Have seen Bubba ho Tep. I cant remember much of it. I know i really liked it, but i cant remember why! I think most of the funny bits were with the black man who thought he was JFK.
I liked Evil Dead, but the 2nd one i thought was just weird. None are the funniest films ever.

Oh and as for Adam Sandler, he's obviously an aquired taste. I think he's great. I always laugh my ass off at The Waterboy. And i really liked Bulletproof.

Emperors New Groove. "Bad llama" man that line made me crack up!

As a kid i would've said Naked Gun 2. The bit where all the stuff kept falling on that guys head. I was cryin with laughter.

Can someone please explain what was so funny about anchorman??? I thought that (and Wedding Crashers) were the most over-rated films i'd ever seen.

The uncensored version of Hear No Evil, See No Evil is funny as! It features Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor!

Also the Medallion featuring Jackie Chan, is pretty funny too :)

Team America!

Hot Shots, both movies!

The Evil Dead cracked me up! 'This is my boomstick' and 'Who wants some, who wants a little, do you want some, ha, do you want a little'

Just a little correction there its see no evil, hear no evil. And yes its am extremely funny film. I cant really quote any of it here as every funny line is full of swearing. I'm sure they wouldnt be aloud to make this film now-adays as its so politically incorrect.

Im glad someone else liked The Medallion, it got such bad reviews everywhere, i was really suprised when i saw it. Lee Evans is great in it.

After re-watching it i'd still have to say Dog Soldiers. and its not even a proper comedy. Its a tense, werewolf, horror, comedy, action, drama about squaddies. The bit were Spoon is trying to hammer a door shut & the hand pops through the letter box! this whole film is classic.
Have any americans seen this?? i was curious to see if you get/understand most of it?

I'm not sure which is the funniest movie ever in MY opinion. Top candidates would include:

The Cable Guy
Anger Management
Spaceballs
The Party (peter sellers)
Dumb and Dumber
Scary movie 1 and 2
Zoolander
Dodgeball
Shanghai Noon
Shanghai Knights
+other jackie chan, ben stiller and owen wilson movies

Ace Ventura 2, Liar Liar and Me, Myself and Irene I thought were all pretty funny movies, and yes, See No Evil, Here No Evil is an absolute classic, Gene Wilder is an insanely funny actor.

40 year old virgin is probably the funniest movie I've ever seen in theaters.
