I think it's the funny pics and memes that have made it so. Today /b/ is less a chaotic evil of the internet and more a funny pictures and 'rate me' image board. It's a shame. That said I still see a fair few threads where anon have seriously messed peoples lives up.

I think the main point of that picture was the obese person in the chair. And those aren't pajamas on the wonan in the back. Those are scrubs, she is a nurse.
