While this is funny, and I make these jokes at hunters wearing their camouflage in public here in Kentucky all the time, I am pretty sure that is an actual soldier in proper uniform. Living close to Fort Knox and within a couple miles of a National Guard base I see this on an almost daily basis. In fact, the gas station next to my house gives them free drinks if they are in uniform.

I think it's the funny pics and memes that have made it so. Today /b/ is less a chaotic evil of the internet and more a funny pictures and 'rate me' image board. It's a shame. That said I still see a fair few threads where anon have seriously messed peoples lives up.
