Because he took it off reddit with no explanation of the backstory, it was an april fools prank based on another similar prank someone posted about happening last year. The idea was to get co-workers to start shouting at the printer to make it print, when it really wasn't equipped to do so. It usually didn't work very well :p
 
I wondered about that myself. I could believe someone would make a printer like that these days. I don't really see a need for it though.

The printer with voice commands is definitely possible to make, just not reliable.

Seen that picture probably 100 times in the last month or so, mostly on Facebook and a few times in this thread.
 
I had not really paid much attention to the picture until now. It just dawned on me what it was going for. :banghead:

Hardly an EPIC fail is it. The most FAIL thing about it is that it could probably be driven away if the front wheels weren't above a ditch...

My thoughts, pretty much. Obviously made by someone who has never been in an accident before.
 
I didn't see anything epic about it... glad it wasn't just me, as I thought i was missing something.
 
Fresh of a 5 day ban from mod's, Apparently I disobeyed a direct warning from a moderator which was posted in this thread, I thought formal warnings were supposed to be sent to your inbox so that you knew they were formal but whatever

 
If you "ain't even mad" why bring it up in the first place? If you have a problem with something a Moderator does, talk to him (or a higher up) about it. Don't bother posting it in a thread.

And as you responded to the request, you clearly saw it so no PM was required.
 
With the car - EPIC FAIL - posted above. I figure the guy who wrote the caption is the same one who took the photo.

I imagine him seeing this car off the side of the road, with the nose end sitting on the ground due to the wheels being in a ditch and to him it's the most awesome crash scene ever. He's stopped his car ( more likely got his mum to stop the car ) got out and took photos thinking "OMG this is so full of LULZ!!!" raced off home and made it into a yet another demotivator with an un-funny caption.

👎 all round.
