Firefly only had one season. Despite having such a massive fanbase, it fell on its donkey[youknow] when it was on the air.

FIREFLY was a brilliant show by Joss Whedon - the guy who made Buffy and Angel - that got cancelled after half a season because FOX were being FOX and the show wasn't an instant hit like LOST and HOUSE. Fan reactions were so great that it got its own feature film, SERENITY, to tie off the loose ends, but despite the acclaim both the series and film got, a second series never happened.

Even if science fiction isn't your thing, it's worth checking out. Steven Hawking reportedly said that FIREFLY was the most reaslistic depiction of what the future and space travel would be like: it's hard to explain, but it's kind of a collision between the Wild West and science fiction. There aren't super-advanced cities on every planet, but small settlements left to fend for themselves on the edge of the galaxy like the frontier during the American expansion. It's very well-written and perfectly cast (Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Gina Torres, etc.).
 
One of the big reasons it was realistic was when the "camera" was in space, there was no sound whatsoever, which is how it really is since there is no atmosphere to move the sound waves. Every other movie in space however has sound.

Why? Whatever caused the Acura to crash would've been closer to a speed bump than a landmine. It sure had the result closer to a landmine though:lol: I think it was overtaking a BMW and slotted back in too early anyway.

I don't want to sound like a whiner but you really didn't need to quote all the pics from the post above either, we know they're there,

This meme may have potential, these made me smirk but we'll see how funny it can be.

It was the overall result that had me thinking it was a landmine. Of course it could've also been a landmine disguised as a Speedbump :p
