He's Australian but your memory is playing tricks on you; the reason he's living in the Ecuadorian embassy is because he's wanted in Sweden on sex assault charges which he has apparently already been tried for. Some see it as petty persecution for the Wikileaks thing, but that's for another thread.

I did at work this summer, only with an extension ladder. The suspension bouncing really sucks.
