Oh I know that they can fly upside down, I just wanted to know the physics behind it.
(I was under the impression that lift was created from air pressure, which is half wrong, it's also the angle of attack that gives lift.)

its all in relation to relative wind at that moment but most of what gives lift is Bernoulli's principle, the "bigger" shape has nothing to do with lift, however shaping does change AOA providing more lift at certain degrees depending on the design.. With the principle comes from fluid dynamics, unequal pressure causes lift from increased velocity and lower pressure .. more specifically lift is cl1/2rov2A ...most of what your saying is correct but there are other factors whether basic or advanced.

I avoid lunch hour rush when I go to Mac so I don't get to partake in the 60 second promotion. But my burgers don't look like that when I get them so I guess I'm lucky.
