G Rated Movies Blow - Really Bad

Not everything has to have the F word in it. It is possible for things to be enjoyable and also aimed at a general audience. Generalizing like that will only hurt you.

Jimmy Neutron, for instance, was hilarious, despite a G rating. Whereas you can't pay me enough to watch an Adam Sandler movie, or American Pie 2.

PS - I'm not voting, because some G-rated movies do suck; some don't. But it has nothing to do with their rating.

most G rated films suck according to us, but that's because were getting too old. i mean, we all liked these kid movies when we were kids, right?

Once you get over 18, and before you become a parent, what to ratings matter? You can either watch a film or not, but its rating should have no bearing on whether it's a decent film.

So, if every movie ever created were given a G rating, they automatically suck? Even if [your favorite movie] somehow was given a G rating you wouldn't watch it because it was rated G?

Quite frankly, I've found that most G - PG13 movies are excellent, since they have to depend more on content than obtuse uses of the English language or new ways of rendering blood graphics.

I saw Ice Age this weekend, and it was funny as hell.

Oh, man, I remember seeing the previews for that... and I was laughing so hard I literally couldn't breathe. The whole movie was good, but the trailers were just hilarious.

Wasn't too keen on Monsters Inc but the Toy Story films and Lion King still crack me up even now.

Anything with the Muppets in it is just hilarious and years ago me and my mates all used to watch the Disney animation of Robin Hood

these types of movies are fine by me, not all movies have to have blood and guts

I think Star Wars was actually PG because of the "violence" of the movie.

But nobody in the US enforces PG ratings; producers just tack on the 13 rating so they can add a dirty word here and there and nobody's really the worse for it all.

And The Dark Crystal, I forgot that was G-rated. (Nooooo.....a gelfing! It's ugly! It's hideous!!!! Uggggghhhh!)
