Always got the damn truffles.

Ant my box locked up in the Lobby the other night so I called it a night.
No double red rings just a Forza lobby lock up.

I put Forza 4 back in the box for this and other reasons, but mainly this. I played Forza to hang out with my buddies... The lobby lockups took that away, so I boxed it. :/

Ah it's a common occurrence then?
I recently De fluffed the heat sinks due to 2 red lights. Think I solved that problem.

The lobby lock ups are not a hardware issue then.
VIP and plenty of DLC support from me and they can't get it right there end.

I don't know if they are still an issue. Previously it was an issue with the game. For many months in fact. I provided quite a bit of evidence on several occasions that it was actually a networking issue with the game itself. (on fm.net) Of course this was met with a lot of opposition at times. Many many folks swore that it was just an issue with people's routers. This of course was not the issue. In the end, Turn 10 released a patch for the game and the problem was greatly reduced. However, for me it was too late.

If you're game locks up and you have to restart the box, that is something else entirely. ;)
 
I'm SLIGHTLY behind on my 3 week estimate, but not by much.. This Wed. makes 3 weeks... Just wanted to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about this ;) I hope to have something to show for my efforts around this weekend...

No problem... that just means more time to construct my seat and wheel stand:)
 
The boards for the G25/G27 shifter adapter arrived and a section of them is incorrect. As such it will be another week before I receive new ones. I'm very sorry about this. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to fix the error except order new boards. $ down the drain for me, but nothing I can do about it but move on. I will post when they are ready.
 
Don't worry about it man. this is a niche market and things like this happen. You should hold the manufacturer responsible so you get your money back. Nice work on your efforts. Kudos. :)

Well my new nascar game comes out nov6th so still maybe by then.
Its all good buddy , no worries here.
 
They should be ready no later than 10/31/2012. If I can swing it, they will be ready earlier. Sorry guys
 
I finally received the reworked boards this past Thursday and have been testing the device this weekend. It should be ready at the beginning of this week. Sorry about the delay.
 
Will do. I have you on a list with some other people that I will be notifying when it is ready. :)

It's close. The code is just very complicated on this one in order to minimize mis-shifts and to facilitate calibration.
 
Hey man can you put me on this list too. I really need my G27 shifter. The Fanatec shifters are PlaySkool quality.
 
Just a little update. It's done. I will post the information, etc. page on my website in the next day or two. Notifications will be sent to those people that have expressed interesting in obtaining one.

Hey Jon, nice news about the adapter! I hope, you are better now ;-)

Regarding your adapters and integration in a rig, is this scenario possible:

Fanatec CSR Elite + FL1 + TH8 in H-shift mode fully assembled and working in GT5 and Forza 4

+ attachment of FL2 + G25 in either H-shift mode or sequential mode

Can all be assembled and attached, kept active and fully working in both GT5 and Forza 4 at all times?

What would be procedures of installing and operations - any issues to take care of?
