Tonight playing dirt 3, steering felt weird, then on the straight the wheel was still at 180 deg, reset ps3 and green light flashing on gear changer, is there a reset or is it fxxxxxd?

Did you check your the cable for the wheel? Everything you said calls for an unplugged wheel.

checked, i've also replaced power source.

Something probably snapped inside. Send it back to logitech.
