Hey there ,i got the g29 and found it took some time to get into it .A few months old, but looks like a good spot to try....
I can't possibly save a slide with the G29, where it is no trouble at all with my DS3. Tired of spinning out while battling for the lead in QM's.
What needs to be adjusted? I downloaded the LGS app and looked, trying to reduce the wheel travel to 360 degrees, no help.
I'm lost.

Thanks, I'll look at the mod options. I think lap times will definitely improve once I get the travel and sensitivity to mimic a curve that most resembles a real pedal and I spend some time getting acclimated. The pedal itself feels great, it just doesn't translate to the right amount of braking in the game. My first lap with the default settings had me braking well before the first distance marker at the end of straights and then panic braking when the car wasn't slowing down. I'm going to spend a little more time with the sensitivity to see what works best. I might be able to use more travel if I lower sensitivity...so the soft portion of the travel does most of the braking, then the hard portion of the travel applies exponentially more braking.
Did you switch the setting on the top from PS3 to PS4?
LOL,,, I thought "I" was the only guy that almost threw my Christmas present out the winder 'cause It wouldn't work - kids and grand kids pooled their $ and got the G29 for 'ol Dad and Gran dad - only to FINALLY resort to YouTube and see that I also overlooked that leeeeetle teeny switch on top of the wheel to switch between PS3/PS4! LOL and Whew! A temper tantrum that was way too close!lol, yes.
I did finally get it working today. I had to do as a youtube video I found instructed. Unplug the cable from the PS4, plug it back in and switch the PS3/PS4 switch back and forth before allowing it to calibrate. Did it twice and it works now....once it acknowledged the G29 I still had to set the shifter to the paddles and a couple other settings to my liking. Like park brake, view change, sway bar and brake bias adjustments (while in a race).
Way more fun!
how you finding the wheel mate ?, i got one at xmas aswell and ive got to say im liking it quite a bit !!! big imorovement from the dfgt.LOL,,, I thought "I" was the only guy that almost threw my Christmas present out the winder 'cause It wouldn't work - kids and grand kids pooled their $ and got the G29 for 'ol Dad and Gran dad - only to FINALLY resort to YouTube and see that I also overlooked that leeeeetle teeny switch on top of the wheel to switch between PS3/PS4! I'm still like you fellas,, taking baby steps trying to learn all the "HOW TO's" of the G29 and PCars It seems I was mistaken when I thought I had heard the wheel could be set to less than full rotation. I believe the PCars made the game wayyyy too complicated, but I suppose there's a ton of gamers who enjoy wiling away all those hours fiddeling with so many settings,, kudos to them. Nonetheless, I do enjoy the game and will enjoy playing it until Sport hits the streets.
