FYI. Team Gamesta made the final round and came in 3rd in the challenge. Not bad considering the aliens in the field. Dragon led the way for our team with a great 4th place finish in the final.

KK was kind enough to yield the last transfer spot to me in our semi-final. I had a pretty bad start to the race and crash and rallied back from last before catching KK on Lap 19. But I had a miserable last lap and would have come up well short if KK hadn't given me the gift.

Thanks man! 👍 Shows what kind of character he has and a good rep for team Gamesta to be sure.

I was able to catch the final races live stream really good showing guys!

Its no problem mate. I saw your crash early on in the race and in the second stint you caught up....It would have been evil of me to take the last place after you made a champion comeback. You were clearly faster than me so I thought you are better to rep team Gamestaa in the final...my way of saying thanks for organizing the event...👍

Free Practice room is open for The Final Round of the Season Qualification starts in 1.5 hrs see you on the track!

Sorry guys. Had to exit and I'm watching the race from the lobby. I was driving badly and even aggressively at times, which is uncharacteristic for me. Decided to pit after lap 2 so I could run by myself in open space not realizing that KK pitted right in front of me. Rather than mess anyone up I just decided to exit track and watch from the lobby. Good luck.

Congrats to Team Gamesta for coming 3rd in the challenge . 👍

Hope the race was good today . Sorry to hear you weren't having a great race WRP .

That's terrible. Would have loved to see you on the grid.

Thanks to Gamesta for putting on a great series.

Podium finish!! First corner was a bit messy, both me and KK came in a little hot, but no harm was done and I came out of the whole thing in last place. I passed Gamesta in Dunlop and set about chasing down the pack. Coming out of Aremberg I caught sight of Hydro and slowly closed up to him. However, in his slipstream I clipped the grass on the exit of Klostertal and spun out. I then waited 5 seconds on the side of the road for Gamesta to pass (to not impede him in that high speed section) before rejoining the race. I had another costly crash before the lap was done. Lap three was even worse. The worst of the multitude of crashes was when I was in front of KK on track and I completely zoned out, went straight into the wall. Must have looked strange from his view. It took me awhile to regroup and after my pit stop at the end of lap 3, I was already down 1:20 down on the leader. From there on, I reset the race in my mind and drove like a new(er) man, trying to balance staying the track with a little speed. After everyone's final stops, I found myself in 3rd with Gamesta and Hydro behind me in the faster GT-Rs. A podium place was on the line, so it was a very nervous last two laps but I somehow kept it together and won the right to spray the hypothetical bubbly with Dragon and KK. Not a bad send off for the good-old reliable SC430. :)

Good job Sag!

Thanks to all the drivers for a fun season. Congratz to Dragon for a dominating season title, you're consistently the fastest driver and you earned it. I'll look back and be proud of the three races I won against the quality competition.

Thanks to Gamesta for organizing and running a great series. Hopefully some of the experienced drivers from this season can help you make it even better next season (ballast, car equalization, etc.).

Looking forward to some guest appearances next season as I won't be on the grid full time. In any case I hope you guys have another great season and I'll be following the thread if not running. 👍

Thanks WRP.

lol, kk, it tastes good. Somehow I even ended up second on the fastest lap ranking. By the way, I noticed your tires on the last lap were completely gone; it must have been tough to keep the car on this track with that amount of tire wear. I imagine you used an unconventional pit strategy to end up in that condition.

About the crash: I sort of half-forgot what I was doing and completely forgot how to take the corner. I barely touched the brake until I was in the wall. I'm just glad I didn't bounce back onto the track and hit you.

Lol yeah im so damn stupid...I came in after 2 laps instead of after 3...I was on a 2 stopper so I had to do 2/4/4 laps in each stint....

Gamesta, I think you should take that beginner sentence out of the OP for next season. Between dragon, KK and now especially Immortalpilot, beginners aren't *ever* going to finish on the lead lap.

Also you better have a ballast system. :sly:

Lol yeah...Especially if Nepalli and Remy come back...Ballast will most definetely spice things up a bit....Im on course for making a spreadsheet so everyone can contribute their times etc...I'll also add some tuning info from my apex book...

i will join for the whole sasion.
we make ballast system??

"This is an Open racing league aimed at beginners, Novice, and Amateur racers and pro's who want to help out"

I think he'll have to take out more than beginner! While I have learned a lot, I'm not even close to being competitive in this league as it is.

Some of the drivers were already trying to convince Gamesta to use a ballast system (even Dragon) so that over time the field gets leveled. In one way to help those drivers that don't get one of the GT-Rs which tend to dominate at these specs (all else equal) and in another way to slow down the fast drivers that tend to "run away" with the races and bring the field closer together. With you joining the series I think there is one more driver on the fast side of spectrum.

I think being a "beginner" advertised series a ballast system is very important. Would not be so much for a "pro" series.

In this series you are likely to run with some drivers who have never run a series before. At least if Gamesta leaves the "beginner" message in the OP. He's asking for "pro's who want to help out" so make sure if you decide to join you are willing to help out by doing some of the following: share tunes, share some technique advice, share practice times, and be understanding of others that might make rookie mistakes. If so I think you'll be a great addition to the series. 👍

Personally, I have no stake in this as I can't run full time next season anyway because my weekends will not be free too often. But if I do get to join in a for a few races I look forward to racing with you -- or at least watching your back bumper for a lap or two:

me and immortalpilot are teammates next season muahahaha:tup:

Sure, but you guys drive the SC430s on N1 tires with max ballast and 50% power, ok? So everyone else doesn't get lapped. :scared:
