The image you posted was not an R34...

WOW. Nothing gets by you.

Image posted was to illustrate the fact that you can not look at ANY Skyline, V35/V36 seemingly included, and think "luxury". That doesn't look like a luxury car?

Whatever, I'm done with this.

I respect the GT-R's performance, but then again, I also have to like the way it looks and in my opinion, the Garage Defend Nissan just doesn't look (even the SUPER GT version looks hideous) as good as other sports cars. I agree with the earlier statement about having function and beauty all in one car. Aside from the 3gen RX7 & the 1st gen NSX, the Japanese, in my opinion, have not designed a car that can be called "pure sex on wheels."

super gt gtr > the aston marton you posted. even before the gtr was painted (it looks awesome in the nismo red)

And the garage defend isnt supposed to look sexy. They are building a track car not an import show car.

No, the Aston looks miles better than that imo. I agree with the second part of your post though, looks arn't always priority when you're building a capable track car.

luckily looks are subjective.
My opinion is the super gt r35 looks atleast twice as nice as that aston marton. :)
change your mind with some paint maybe?

No, I still prefer the Aston, the GT-R is one agressive looking beast though (in the good way) but I definitely prefer the Aston. Anyhoo, as you say looks are subjective ;).

I like the looks of the super GT GTR more than de Aston. The Aston is just to ordinary and doesn't have that race car look.

Don't like the way the R35's front end looks. The design doesn't look cohesive at all. There's too many bumps and vents that looks as if just got tacked on. I prefer this GTR as far as aggression goes:

And I never thought I would see the words DBR9 & ordinary in the same sentence!!!

I guess I just prefer smooth, sleek lines to boxy lines. But then again, I also like the M3 GTR...

They're not as in your face as the Nissans, but that's why I like them.

I'll leave as well with a quote of my original post:

I don't think the late generation of Skylines was ever seen as a "luxury" brand. As far as I remember, the Skyline was lauded as "Godzilla", not because of it's comfortable ride.

And I don't mean to win an argument; I'm just clarifying my thoughts. :)
