I know there is the 2000 car limit for your garage, but is there a limit to how many duplicates of any one car you can have?

Nope. You can have 2000 F40s if you want.

Haha I don't think I'd go THAT far, but it is good to know that I can keep snatching up classic American cars when they pop up in the UCD.

One way to keep the game fun is to keep one version of the completely stock and have another version tuned. This way you'll get the best of both worlds!

PS. In case you don't know, weight and engine upgrades are irreversible so its good to have one without it.

this is exactly what i do. good advice 👍

however, on the topic at hand, trust me 2000 cars is a ridiculously large amount

with 1000 cars in your garage, it will take like 20 seconds for the cars to load, to pick a car. trust me youd lose your mind.

my friend has 500 it takes less than a second, Mabby 5 for 2000...

Its worth using the favourite option, you can have 100 favourites. I change them if I'm using a particular car often it gets aided and another gets removed.

20 seconds may be a little bit of an exaggeration, but you are correct. Waiting for 880 standards to load is infuriating :banghead:

to clarify, i'm not talking about going to garage. i'm talking about clicking on a 'standard' or 'premium' tab, with 1000 or more cars in them

i have close to 500 in my standard garage, and in a lobby when i click the standard tab it takes a solid 3-4 seconds to load the cars

ive heard people with 1300 cars, saying it can take up to 15 seconds or more sometimes

5 for 2000, youre dreaming..

My save is over 6.5mb, I have about 1800 standard cars on it.
And yes, it loads slowly when I click the standard tab. But closer to 5 seconds then 20 :D

Still wonder why it is so slow. Has to be bogus coding.
The last website I've made, processes 7 million records in about 4 seconds
And that machine is not as fast as a ps3, nor 1800 records with some specs!

More annoying is that sorting, filtering etc also takes 5 seconds each time :(

That's pretty much what I'm doing with them. The cars with the lower miles on them are staying completely stock. I'll do one completely tuned (engine rebuild too), one tuned but no weight reduction. And on the '69 Z28 and the '70 Challenger, do race mods on one each. There's just so many different combinations to choose from, I just want to be able to tinker around with all of them.

I've got just over 1,200 and it is slow to open the standard car tab. I do find myself sorting by make and model to get to what I want to drive for fun rather than scrolling through the entire list.

Clear your cache, see if that helps. May take a few minutes.
