Could you please put some punctuation in this? Its literally unreadable. Also read the AUP again, for your own good.

who here is playing SF3 Online im not very good but would love to play some people

If you have the 360 platform, I'll be down for some matches.
Btw, does the menu music get on anyone else's nerves? Outdated and corny..it's getting painful to stay in the menus and read stats:(

lol I like the menu music its pretty nice but i guess we just have a difference of opinion. I have it only on ps3

You don't want to be taken for a ride, add me. I am getting mine friday.

Uhm, hi guys. First of all let me just say that I'm not a huge fighting game player but my brother is.

I'm trying to look for a good first fightstick to get him and I really liked the look of the Madcatz Tournament S edition. I'm ok with the price but there's no where that sells anything but the 360 version and I need it for the PS3. So I'll let you guys lay it on me, are these laughably hard to find? Or is there somewhere I can get it somehow?

Anyway, would you all think it'd be ok to just get him a regular tournament edition for his first stick? I guess the only difference is that it's a bit bigger?

Thanks in advance and uh... fight ON! xD

Any stick is good. If you have any soldering skills, you can set any 360 stick to a PS3/360 stick for around 30-50 dollars. TE's are recommended because if you get the SE ( standard edition) you will still pay around 40 dollars a bit more for buttons/ joystick.

You mean he'd get tired of the SE's buttons and wanna mod them up for around 40$?

I guess I'll go with this then:
Hyrule Princess

On the Standard Edtion Fight sticks, the buttons tend to worn out pretty fast ( They will start sticking and sometimes won't confirm). Any 30mm button ( snap-in)will work. The joystick it self is alright, you could swap it in for the Sanwa JLF . As for your PS3 problem, there is this page and
Teasy-Strike
Toodles' TE kitty Kit. Though if you have a PS2 stick laying around, you could use a converter for like 27 from Korea.
Round 1 TE stick for 149.99
and a 10% discount, type in SRKDOTCOM
I have two SE's and one TE-S. Though I also have two Hori's ( Soul Calibur II and Tekken 4) and one custom stick.

So I can get the TE stick for 149.99 with a 10% discount directly from Madcatz?

Just ordered from Gameshark for a total of 150$ with 2 day shipping. You just made someone's Friday extra super awesome. Kid took over my PS3 tonight playing the new S3 that came out so now his friend can bring over his PS3 'cause we have a cool fight stick and they can leave mine alone. Win win :).

Thanks a bunch. I'll let him know about those other mods and such you pointed me too as well 👍

Cheers guys.

I was going to suggest making your own stick since it is incredibly fun creating things from scratch.

I enjoy making joysticks more than I do using them. If you make your own, it allows different things to be done... My current Acrylic Stick is 18"x11" and that gives me plenty of room to work and place things inside AND gives me a large print for the front and back panels.

i am jealous!!!

Depends what materials I'm using to build the case and what I need for the situation.

You don't sound like a handy man at all with that question

Okay, I already dislike this game. Everything feels so weird having played IV beforehand. Parrying is extremely difficult for me, the timing is all different for everything. Seriously can't be bothered to learn parrying if it's Sprites. I've always hated spriye for it's lack of smooth animation making it super difficult for me to react to anything.

Am I the only one who finds parrying easy? Most moves are also same from Super 4.

lol you mean most of the moves from super 4 are from SF3 LOL
I am not good at parrying yet forgoten about that but I will work on it tomorrow ( yes I am off from work!)

I am playing the Trial version, it isn't as easy as SFIV..here is probably my best parrying in 07.

AOS, parrying is helpful but this game is based on footsies.
This is a helpful video

I can't even parry that first kick in the trials... I've tried timing it earlier and later, still no luck. Doesn't help that successful parrying gets us that "lag", totally throws me off at times.
