get photos on psp

every time i try to transfer photos to my psp it says an it couldn't transfer it. how can i fix this

first of all, you must have version 2.0, and secondly the image can't be too big.. a tip is to resize the image to 480x272 pixels wich is the size of the psp screen..

im trying to treansfer the pics i took in photomode to my psp and i have firmware 3.00
thats why i put it in the gran turismo 4 forum but it got moved to here

Are you transferring the photos directly from the PS2 to the PSP? If so, I couldn't get it to work at all.

Or are you transferring them from your PC to your PSP (ie using a USB cable)? If so, are you sure you are putting them in the PHOTO folder within the main PSP folder?

That doesn't work. You have to transfer the photos to your PC, then you put them in the PSP's PHOTO folder. Then you will be able to see the photos. So, connect it to your PC, and move the photos you've saved to your PSP (though they won't be visible on the PSP's screen) to it's PHOTO folder. Then you should be able to view them.

I've done a bit of investigating, mainly through that thread...

It does work, as long as the PSP's flash drive is formatted to a FAT format. You do this by connecting the PSP up to the computer, right-clicking on the device then clicking "Format...". Just make sure you back-up your files before you do it!

You will then be able to connect it up to the PS2 and will work right away, as it did with me. A GT4 folder is made on the PSP, so you have to connect it up to your PC again, and move the pictures into the PHOTO folder.

This should work. Anymore troubles or questions, just ask.
