Getting the desired PD Formula GT Color

Is there a technique in predicting or upping the chance of getting a prize car in your desired color?

As I don't have the patience and time in repetitiously entering Nurburgring 24 Hours Endurance, I only wanted the Red Polyphony Formula. Can anyone give me a hint or trick so I could enter the endurance only once or perhaps twice or thrice, and getting the prize car at my desired color?

no

you can get any color you want in arcade mode, though
 
just keep entering the 24hour race and eventualy you will get the colour your after, i want the f1 car in pure white, cos i already have in it all back and silver as well as all black!

Sorry, there's no trick that I know of. Your best bet is to just keep on winning the race until you get it.

I've been trying to get the orange F1, but keep getting the ones i already have. I got the red F1 in b-spec, using the Amuse S2000 R1, in the 8th grid ( i think) with the **Audi A4, Falken GT-R, Cusco Impreza, Wedssport Celica and the Spoon S2000. I hope that helps you. BTW, use racing hard front/super hard rear tires, set to speed level 4/5 and it will pit at every 5 laps!

Joseph, i got the white F1, using the same Amuse S2000 R1, in the 9th grid (i think) with the **BMW M3, Audi A4, Falken GT-R, Opel Calibra and C-West Razo Silvia.

**Not in that particular order on the starting grid, but as far as i remember, that's the order they finished.

There is no way to predict or up your chances to get yor desired color. The one-make endurance race that is the roadster endurance will tell you that. No matter wich MX5 you use the prizecar color is totaly random. Belive me, I´ve been trying to get that black RX-7 LM with 00 as number for months, without any luck.

That was the second RX-7 I got. As far as the PD Formula goes..I'm happy with my blue and white one for now. You'll just have to keep trying to get the one you want.

Thats funny, I ran that race for the second time today trying to get the black RX-7 too. Its freken HoT!

Im going to Run it again.
 
damn PD! It was much easier on GT3 back then. I suggest they take the random thing off, and maybe make the technique secret for us to discover and apply. I really hate doing the 24hr Nurb even if I could finish earlier in B-Spec then getting the same color again. :ouch:
 
as I stated before, you can have any color you want in Arcade Mode... just by having the car in Simulation Mode.
 
The beauty of having your desired car color in GT mode is that you can tune it to your style of driving. And then feel the satisfaction of driving that car according to your preferences.

ummm... go into arcade mode and you can see all the available colors. I think there are about 10.
 
Just finished Nurb's for the 24th time and still no orange F1 :(
A car trade option in the "Tune shop" would've been nice.
I'd trade one of the red F1, since i have 2.
Well, here goes #25, i'll cross my fingers....and think..... :trouble: orange!!

Darn it, that orange F1 is playing hyde & seek with me :rolleyes:

I did the same race twice, with the same car and settings and got the same...yellow F1 :(

in which race/grid?? :indiff: pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase (?!?)

Why isn't there an option to pre-set pit stops and to automatically re-set X3 after pit?? :(

Actually, I recently lost all my GT4 data and had to restar all over again. I haven't even opened the endurance races yet. However, I do remember I used the Chevy Camaro Race Car, although I have no clue what I was up against.

Perhaps, some of that salt got in the console? :lol:
I feel bad for you :sick: and i hope you'll have better fun re-doing everything and if you get another orange F1 before i do, please keep notes of the car and race/grid, thanks 👍

I ran the Mazda RX8 racecar, can't remember the grid though.

But then i lost all my cars and did the race again in the RX8 racecar and this time I got the blue/white F1 (perhaps an other grid :confused: )

And I totally argee with you the the re-set X3 after pitstops thing, it would shorten the racetime so much!... hopefully it will work in GT5? :)

Perhaps there's a trend of bad luck, that after winning the orange F1, data is lost? :scared: Good thing i have 4 memory cards.
Maybe i'll just stick with the other 25 F1's i have in the garage and forget the orange? Nah, i'm 21+hrs into my 25th Nurbs and, i'm feeling....orange :irked:
I just hope i wont be feeling...blue :nervous: instead! Thanks!

I think I turned off the PS2 while it was saving or something. The good thing is that I did all the licences in one day and all the missions in another. I'm already at 24.6%, and I started last saturday... yep, I'm unemployed :indiff:

Thanks for the good wishes ;) I'll hope for orange too... or was it red? Yellow?
