Ghost Drivers in GT5 - Why and where?

At Ahrweiler City Wall Photo Location you can see cars driving through the city without driver.








Are there other ghost drivers around in GT5? And why didn`t PD put a driver inside the cars?

1. I think they did it for detail.
2. I think they didn't add a people inside them mainly because they only have the detailed racing drivers in suits, and the 2D people you see in rally tracks that are just gif animations.

I don't have any moving cars on my photo locations. Are there different spots on the Pal version?

Edit: Never mind, I thought I unlocked all the locations but I guess there are more!

Ähm, I don`t know. It´s in Ahrweiler (city wall). Not city center.

Nevermind I hadn't unlocked it so I got my bronze on the AMG special event just to check this phenomenon. My guess is the Germans have developed some kind of window tint that hides the driver.

German engineering can do almost everything but I think they have not invented the magic hood yet. We have to catch Harry Potter first to get a working prototype.

You're all overlooking the obvious bit of German engineering, fully automated cars.

Wasn't that inappropriate for PD to add drivers in the seat inside the cars? - At the location of Bern thoroughfare in Switzerland in the prototravel you can see a tramcar running along the street occasionally(per seconds), the passengers aboard on the train are invisible even though the train may be run by electricity or whatever so that it doesn't need a conductor for operation of tram - the same probably goes for the case as well.
