Just saying, because I keep being kicked from lobby's as soon as I enter, and messaged 2 asking why and both said it's because I'm a girl? Does this pretty much mean I should just pack in playing or something? It's really annoying if honest, annoying enough half the time I get kicked for being from New Zealand, and when I explain I'm actually in the UK, I get booted for being an immigrant... (even though I'm a British citizen, but my family is from New Zealand). It's like sorry if you don't want to be shown up by a girl.

Question is, is it just me finding this kind of crap or is it pretty wide spread and people are just that immature?

Have you tried grief reporting them?

Nah, I wasn't aware you could report for that kind of a thing? If so I think I might just give it a crack.

It's annoying, because I'm generally a pretty clean driver (accidents happen, but I'll drop back if I end up taking advantage) and usually give a pretty good race, so it's not like I'm known as being someone who thinks other cars are instead of brakes.

I've got 5 friends who are girls on my friends list and they play GT5
 
How do they know that it is a girl on the other side???
 
Maybe you could play with a voice changer so they wouldn't know what you were? :)
 
I wish more females played GT5 a lot more. :/ Never seem to meet any.

Her PSN is, in part, Hayley. When I see that name, I think girl, not guy.

Regardless, if I ever bother to get a PS3 up a running and if I'm ever online and if you happen to join, rest assured that I won't be doing any kicking. Unless you deserve it, naturally. :p

Ummm why are you racing in random rooms? That isn't fun for boys either, unless they're very young boys who think your kind is disease-ridden with cooties and hate all races "inferior" to themselves. Bratty little nationalistic inbred wanks.

Try a respectable racing series (not telling you to look in my sig...but look in my sig :)). If you aren't into rally check out the board there are MANY series and GT Planet certainly won't let them discriminate.

I'm a feminist believe it or not. Not the man-hating kind as that would be a bit self-defeating but I do believe in equality across the board. So does GTP I assume. Sooo get with some good racers and avoid the people we all, man and woman, hate.
 
I have a couple friends that I play with (Both COD and GT5) that are girls, and I have noticed when I'm in lobbies with them that some guys take it upon themselves to live out their chauvinistic fantasies by being as much of an a**hole they can be. I, having been raised with the southern moralities, don't understand this in the least bit, but some people are just deplorable as a whole, and ya just gotta live with it. I promise you though, you are just having a streak of bad luck in the lobbies you join, and the majority of us aren't going to do that to you.

So on behalf of the douchebags that share my male gender, I apologize :p
 
I actually would like to have more girls playing GT5 to be honest, but I haven't see none yet.
 
lol its okay for you to play, people are just immature , i have lots of girl gamer friends matter a fact my girlfriend plays tons of vid games, juts not racing games she hates em lol =D , kicks my but at tekken tho =[
do what my friend does, she reports evry single person, trust me psn is much more feminine friendly than xbl ...
 
In the old PS2 version of Mortal Kombat my wife used to win by button-mashing >:(

But then we'd play the puzzle fighter mini game and she would DESTROY me. Same with any side-scroller like Mario or Little Big Planet. She's just...better.

In GT5 I win, though. If she was into racing it'd be a different story I'm sure.
 
I know several girls that do GT5,Cardinal Rose,she's one of the "mods" at the PS forum,Snakeyes427 hangs out over there and is also a member here,uh then there's Misd3vious (sorry if I did'nt spell it right) and all three of them are pretty good racers so there are girls that race, don't get discouraged by a few idiots!:)
