We need more females doing drags, who agrees?
👍👍👍👍 Mind you, Mafs would either scare them away or turn them into monkeys anyways :D

i just tested something.. i made a lobby named: "Girl Drivers Wanted" .The room filled up in minutes. its a new record. from now on i put the word girl in the name. This is not a joke. i dont think one girl joined is the funny part

Just saying, because I keep being kicked from lobby's as soon as I enter, and messaged 2 asking why and both said it's because I'm a girl? Does this pretty much mean I should just pack in playing or something? It's really annoying if honest, annoying enough half the time I get kicked for being from New Zealand, and when I explain I'm actually in the UK, I get booted for being an immigrant... (even though I'm a British citizen, but my family is from New Zealand). It's like sorry if you don't want to be shown up by a girl.

Question is, is it just me finding this kind of crap or is it pretty wide spread and people are just that immature?

If your in the uk.. why do you even have A NZ account? lol.. people from europe associate those from australasia with bad connections hence the kicking on that behalf.

Being A girl and getting kicked for it? That's just A problem with ones maturity levels...

I think there was a racist complaint in a thread as well.

I'm Belgian / Flemish with a Luxembourg flag (that is where I live): Belgians kicked me thinking I was Dutch (only the Blue in the flag is slightly different).

I ended up not going in a room with specific nationality anymore, they seem to be closed groups.

On girls as drivers, some are faster some are slower, just normal humans hé.

Has anyone stopped to think why is she out of the kitchen?

Haha, joking. My girl is trying to learn how to play GT5 but she leaves me in a dilemma. If I beat her, she stops talking to me. If I let her win, she complains about me going too easy, she's not a child she says, and she... yeah, stops talking to me lol

Dark Ruffo, You're lucky that your lady wants to learn. Mine doesn't enjoy watching racing on TV, watching me race, or wants to play with me (or learn for that matter). I count myself lucky she likes Top Gear, as she enjoys the humor, and how some of the cars look. That's about it.

Ugh, men and online affections...

I think the girl/boy ratio should be more balanced than it is now. I think that we wouldnt have as much bs going on in the forums and in the chats.

And I think that girls/women are not inferior to the boys.

So, our female players, throw away the other games and drive with us.

But when nobody is out on a friday night, out population growth might stagnate fully. :/

I've raced and lost to girls, it is no big deal. We are all drivers in this game!

Well, I am a girl and my name tells it! I use this name because my grandchildren call me mamann every since they started talking. Not only am I a girl but I am at the age where people think I should set in a rocking chair all day and do nothing!!!!👎 as I said I am a girl and a grandmother and have 10 grandchildren all who play PS games and ask for help from me!!👍 feelings good...I drag race for real at our local track. look at the avatar. Men can be sick when it comes to woman doing what they doing, just keep on keeping on!:sly:

As long as you got your setup in the kitchen or in the bedroom, I realy don't see a problem.

I think it would be great if more women liked gaming. Why anyone online would discourage it is beyond me. Mamann, I wish more women and people my age in general had your attitude towards games. It's something we've seen evolve from the beginning and enjoyed since we were young. It's a better (and healthier) form of entertainment than sitting around watching a movie and I'm surprised more older people don't get that. Love the puppy in your profile pic by the way.

Who's behind the wheel/pad is less important to me than the way they are playing. If you know how to do proper racing that's the only things that count for me, rest is unimportant on an online game.

Also lots of internet womens (or at least those that claims so) are actually guys that are missing friends so yeah lol (I dont point fingers on anyone here, just a general things I've notice in my 9 years of playing online game).

You're very very bold to keep this post up. Very.

To the OP:

My girlfriend is a gamer but unfortunately she hates most of the games i play. I could imagine your experience publicly posting that you're a girl in an online lobby, 50 Viper ACRs pull up to your car "checking you out". :nervous:

Weird sexist thread

A girl started this thread.;)

That's what happens in Home when there is a girl about, it probably does get rather annoying.

:) at how many people are viewing this thread at the moment, your more popular for being female!
You would be welcome in my lobby and a few thousand others by the look of it, happy racing!

I haven't come across to a female player yet.. I guess, but it really doesn't matter if you are female / male or British, American... as long as It is fun to drift and race.. I really don't care. Most of my friends list is made up of people I enjoyed drifting with. I consider myself to be an "average" gamer so if you wanna race/drift and whatnot with me: buzkill34

Social networking, like PS Home, is "proving grounds" for horndogs.

Men are suckers for Females online, it's hilarious..

I have some girls on my list.. I make sure to beat them, then stand back and enjoy the whine.

Also known as bad sportsmanship. ;)

Girls mostly tend to play MMORPG games. I haven't met a girl in GT5 till now (not that I know of), but I've met some girls in BC2 & they where actually surprisingly good at it. :D

Instead of Rambo gameplay & a one-man-show (like the most boys) they where great team players. Not the best aiming skills, but they where the best medics I've ever met.
Helped everyone out with reviving or throwing out the medic & the ammunition boxes. And it was 99% save to respawn at them. :dopey:👍

I guess there the mother role came trough.

And as soon as the opponents have noticed that they playing against a girl, they running around with the knife like chickens, trying to stab her & get her dogtag.
That's the point where the win is already in our pockets. :D

I didn't want to mention this but my girlfriend does indeed play WoW (World of Warcraft) and she does play a "healer" role. She's pretty good at it but complained that girls can play just as good as guys in tank roles. FYI, she lost to that theory. Nothing sexist about it, just statistical studies that were done to prove her wrong.

I haven't come across to a female player yet..

I don't think I have ever been in an online lobby with any girls in it......

If you've played online in public games, you've played against girls. Not everybody has a photograph of their genitals in their profile to show what gender they are - and not everyone thinks it matters in any case...

Enough of this thread already.

Ok what does this have to do with this game.
Talking about WOW, COD, Mario, doing dishes and kitchen duties and every other thing but GT5.
Who cares what gender, color, race, religion or planet your from.
Get on the track and drive.

Dude clearly all I'm seeing is a bunch of jibberish that has absolutely nothing pertaining to the game itself.Who cares if your a girl, grab your wheel, controller or whatever you use and drive. This is not the first game a woman/girl has ever played. We are questioning whether or not she should play?Really?
