Speaking of slow... Anyone tested the 458 before picking their cars? It feels a bit underpowered. Can't make it drop below 35s in Fuji (staying on-track at least)...

Bloody ell ..i think your right, he would . I was thinking something like a beetle, something cheap & hippyish etc... but no your right a prius would definately be his motor.

Yeratel yer the 458 is no good compared to the others also the lambo .

Lambo's the same except it can't get much below mid-high 34s because it handles so badly. Monstrous on the straights though. :scared:

I'ma try out that Ferrari now. Although I'll be banging out a brand spanking new one in black.
 
Nothing wrong with the Ferrari, 1:35.38 with 8 less bhp on it. Oops, that's without the fully modded LSD installed... and the weight balance at 44/56...

Than why are people talking about laptimes below 1:34?
 
Now I figured the car would get better (like with the SLS) when extra bhp naturally built itself onto the car, since the torque increases as well as it breaks in, but... even so, 1:35.25 is a off the mark for even 535-537 bhp, and it's only 0.1 better...
 
That offtopic back there was totally off the radar. :odd:

I'm still wondering if I'll make that first Fuji race or not. Might want to look for a replacement dude.
 
I'm officially changing to the SLS...

Without much tuning and after 4 laps my best was 1:34.2XX. After 20 the best I got with the 458 was 1:35.0
 
May want to test again, gave the Ferrari an extra 10 bhp after I double checked.
 
Haven't touched my SLS.

Pretty sure I can nail a 1:34 with enough sweat and sorcery ;)
 
Had a thrash round today to get a feel 133.3 was my best (2 wheels on track:sly:) cars more around 133.5/133.8 generally. That'll be my lot practice wise still not 100% sure of making it.:nervous:

Even at 550, best I could get with the 458 was 34.5, still below what I can achieve with the Merc

Not under these specs... If you ask anyone from Furi's GTE series, they'll tell you that I can stay with the top half of the field while driving one...
