Really? I hadn't looked at Resident Evil for years because the first ones I played, while fun, were rediculously short. I may have to check the new one out sometime then. Thanks for the head's up. 👍

Everyone keeps saying its short, but it isn't I think the game itself is really really long, but the story is kinda short. You gotta remember after you beat the game once you unlock god mode which is insanely hard (at least for me), then theres challenge of the gods, and some deleted levels as well. But the craziest unlockable has to be the story of Cratos's brother which i hope ties into the next god of war which will probably be for the ps3.

I think the game is awesome, the best adventure type fun i've had since Mario.

I'm on the bit where you have to take on about 15 of those witches, pretty tough any tips?

I finished the game last night, best adventure game I ever played! The story is very cool, surprising you until the end of it. A lot of goodies were unlocked and there´s still some more to unlock on God Mode and Challenge of The Gods.

So this game has (in my opinion):
- The best graphics on PS2, along with Jak3 and GT4;
- The best control scheme of any adventure game;
- The best moves and combos of any adventure game;
- An awesome plot that surprises you until the end of the game;
- Lots of extras.

I guess that´s about it. Anyone that owns a PS2 and like this genre of games has to get God Of War. 👍👍👍

this is BS, so i rented the game and started on normal, after saving my game i recently found out it turned into EASY?
WTF how the **** did that happen?
i know this game is good and i love if but there are some annoying things:
playing on normal then it turns into easy
camera angles

When you die several times in a row a window appears asking if you wanna change to easy mode, you must have pressed yes without noticing it.

ahahah thats probably it, but its not like i was having a hard time fighting the guys, i just had a hard time getting pass 2 areas
-swim and avoid the moving spike (which kills you if you dont)
-walking the high ledge of hades temple (spinning spikes annoy me)

I have just finished God of War and got to say this is one of the best game I have ever played! But....I feel a bit uncomfortable with the nudity that is shown in the game. (Hate it when when my dad comes in my room and say "eh? what are you watching???"

I still think the battle with the Hydra is the best out of all the bosses. I find it a bit sick when Kratos shove the Hydra's head down the boats broken pole with blood gushing everywhere.

I personally didn't like the battle with Ares because it doesnt have the same feel of action like the previous bosses. I think next time they should make it like the other bosses but more entertaining.

I wish I they can make "Goddess of War" with me in it! I would love to kill Athena and take her throne! 👍

 

[Solid Lifters]

I plan to buy this one once it goes on sale for $20. I played the demo again a few weeks ago and had a more fun time with it than previously. I don't see why I should pay full price for it now, when I can wait for it to go on sale, which should be two more months from now.

I have a complete walk through, plus all the secret and hidden items and their locations, if anybody needs it. Just PM me.
